Salvatore Ferragamo Spring 2015

Very strong collection from Ferragamo this season.  I could see himself wearing all these looks.  Milan was exceptionally strong this season.

Wow. The male models look even more unhappy and unhealthy/tired than the women models…
Where have the real men gone? Sigh.

Its called the PC brigade. Men or Women are no longer permitted to reflect the sexuality they were born with. Heroin chiq has been replaced with androgynous porridge. Dsquared still do sexy and D & G have brought Schiffer back to the limelight. Maybe be can get back to the 80´s and 90´s where models looked sexy and not like extras from the twilight movies

Really? Isn’t that reading into things a little too deeply? Models are instructed to portray moods or “personalities” when on the runway that best suit the collection or show, words like “Austere, Strength, Dark, Handsome” are regularly seen on posters backstage. Also; one reason a designer may ask models to look slightly deadpan is so they don’t detract from the clothing and the looks which is ultimately what the industry is about.

i agree: the cast is quite uninteresting and the whole think feels flat…

Being somewhat conventional, I wonder about the shorts for many men. Men heck the look of your legs before you go for the short’s look. Yet I like it on the model. Love love love all the other looks.

The wide-legged, heav woool Annie Hall shorts on the men seem absolutely nonsensical, a far premature rebuttal to the slim cuts we have now.

Agreed Scott, I would actually like to see you wearing some of these looks. I think the proportions would be perfect for you. I loved the collection; the colour palette was serene and natural and then there was the shoes (I need the lace-ups right now). Great Show!
