Rochas all the way. Clothes for an intellectual woman. Clothes to give a college lecture in. I just loved the subtlety and richness of this collection.

Personally I prefer Balmain due to the edgier looks. These are really great pictures! I love the color scheme of the collection and the patterns.

Rochas is more wearable and I love the third look but Balmain’s collection is just beautiful! So I guess I’m a Rochas Lady in real life but a Balmain Woman in my dreams.

Well no doubt Rochas collection is classic and well executed, flaweless but cold. Great fall colours and very safe. It has the feel of an Italian show instead of Parisian. Reminds me to much of Prada a few years back and a shy Marni. It’s good but Balmain was a class apart in my humble opinion. He took a risk and oh boy it really paid off ! I see no pictures of Balenciaga anywhere…. that can’t be good.

Rochas for me! The Balmain collection was lovely and interesting, but the clothes overshadow the woman. With Rochas, the individual can still shine through.

A Rochas collection that certainly stands out but unlike other designers this year a distinct lack of bold colours. Intersting use of print design and quite amazing shapes/cuts. The last model is particularly amazing!

I’m not yet 20, and I’m a Rochas lady… I think some of this season’s Balmain looks tacky… and isn’t it a bit too similar to last season’s? I think someone’s beauty shines through, if they dress beautifully… not necessarily to show they’ve a great pair of legs…would Audrey Hepburn go Balmain or Rochas??

the Rochas is fabulously beautiful in every detail. After a fairly drab & predictable Milan it was a real lift to see such fabrics & the eye for sheer subtle loveliness.
Not necessarily age..I’d have gone for the Rochas when I was 14…would have thought it exactly how one should dress when grown up….
but then every collection Zanini has done for Rohas has been a breath taker..he’s so gifted
can’t understand why he’s not a bigger name but maybe that’s a good thing.
Oh if only I could afford to buy them….

Rochas for sure. In the case of the Balmain collection, it seems that the clothes overpower the woman, where the Rochas complement the wearer.
