Really great collection! The coat on the third picture – easily the most adorable piece of clothing I've seen in a while. (The last dress looks like in a car wash, though.)
the images are amazing- i'm almost too consumed by the beauty of the photos than the actual fashion… but after a second look the fashion is pretty fabulous as well! i love the last dress- so fun!
A couple of the models actually had some breasts (photo5) and some full figured fashions as well. In that regard this show was different and interesting
It was one of my favourites of Milan Fashion Week, I loved much more the second part of the collection that broke the usual style of Pucci prints. Very glamorous.
I literally gasped when the pictures loaded onto my screen. GASPED. This line is everything a girl could dream of. That navy dress with the gold embellishments and lace detail on the neck line… I'd sign over the rights of my perpetual first born for. But since that's not in the foreseeable future I'll settle to making something similar on my little Brother sewing machine. Everything is beautiful but all the brocade detail has me. So meticulous… its beautiful. Sorry for the mini novel
i loved the collection and the casting, too! but just to clear things up: matthew williamson left pucci a while ago, it's peter dundas designing there now.
I dont usually comment, but the models do seem different in the past few posts. I was reading an article on the NY times website a few weeks ago where the author mentioned the models "gaining a few years and pounds" and I couldn't believe it. Its great to see some of the models with some real life figure, rather than skin stretched over bone. Its depressing to think that any of these women would be considered overweight in any sense of the word.
Pucci is absolutely not my style, yet I can't help but to watch this show on Youtube over and over again. There's something addictive about it and the music they played (Daft Punk I believe).
I love isabeli fontana. I am so happy to see her on the runways in Milan. Pucci blew me away. It was a clever mix of the house's prints it's known for, mixed in with a victorian era style which was beautiful.
Peter Dundaas is a genious! The sculpturing is amazing, and I love the fuchsia coloured pants! The show looked spectacular.I wish I was there! Great pictures Scott!
please, no more fashion show pictures. that's not what i am here for. i wanna see more everyday life pictures of people wearing nice clothes, rather than constructed mono-label outfits.
It's a little bit funny for me, living in Munich, to hear some opinions that some trousers look like what you call Lederhosen and wear at the Oktoberfest – but the Pucci collection is just great, to say it in one word.
In a rather boring series of outings so far, Pucci's Fall-Winter 2011 collection seems like the very best one so far! Glamourous, confident, immensely sexy… Bravo Dundas!
When WIlliamson left Pucci I didn't like a lot Dundas, but with these last colelction I have to riconsider my idea. I lvoe the feather, the sex appeal of his creations…cool!
ah, that's what i call a collection! awesomeness, pure and simple :) the purple suede suit is inspired! (i could keep gushing over this but i'll stop myself :D )
I was enchanted by the facial expressions of the woman wearing the fur in the audience. Intended or not, it tells a story far more intriguing than the clothes.
This all looks so hot especially all of the dresses and the bright purple pants! The girl in the dress with the gold brocade at the front looks like Helena Christensen or Frankie Rayder.
The dress of the 5th picture, gold brocade, is so feminine and sexy. And they selected the perfect model to wear it, with latin / italian curves. This is the kind of dress I'd love to be dressed in…
I have never understood clothes that seem designed for the sole purpose of communicating wealth – especially, as these do, the wealth of another era. Do we want to be Medici's or modern women?
For me this collection is a miss. Though I get the story of the collection it doesn't feel self-assured. I love Pucci and would never want any of these pieces.
yes… i love this. too many designers just get way to caught up trying to make something new and end up going over board designing clothes that no one would wear. this not only is unique but something wearable.
