I like the overall idea, the sporty-ness, the black and white, the stark colours and shapes…but the actual execution isn’t as great as other stuff we’ve seen from Prada.
This menswear collection by Prada looks AMAZING! I love how it’s simple with several twists. The play on proportions and construction is what truly makes this a great collection!

have a friend who just completed her undergrad in fashion. for final collection he decided to create a collection that would be worn by both male and female models. it received some resistance for not being simply classified. here a highly recognized house has done just that created a collection with same pieces for both bodies. kudos to kudos to prada and to ms. venus for understanding the reality of how clothing is worn by many bodies out of different reasoning.
Miuccia and the London Olympics? This is fantastic; clean, sporty and understated which is exactly what the traditional outfits for each country’s olympic team should be. Definitely should have been commissioned to design the Italian teams outfits. Totally wearable and investment peices galore!!! Love!
@ Monsieur Marcel–indeed, there is something weirdly mechanistic about the boxy, uniform-esque pieces. I don’t find this collection as aesthetically off-putting as I found the previous two posted, but… I guess “cold” comes closest to describing the vibe I get here.
Very cool! I love the pattern of the show there. Its like crossing traffic, also love how Prada is using some grow ups and not all 20 year old male models. All the bright blue is great as well, I love me some blue.
Ugh. After the last two springs of madcap hits this is the worst. Call it what you will, but I think it is just plain awful. Sticking a few female models on the mens runway just to detract from how horrid the clothes were was just a ploy. I expect a little more, no a LOT more from Prada.

Horrible, its like Communist North Korean clothing meets Hospital staff clothing,
its over sized, it hides the body, its dull and boring
Prada is so over rated, what woman wants to look pregnant and flumpy, and what man wants to look like a boozed up darts palyer,
Awful collection again from Prada year after year.
