hmmm..maybe they should go see the giorgio morandi show – same color palette going on. a bit of a zzzz for this trio, though, and i would ban that type of hat if i could – especially worn that way.
Love the colors and combinations…perfect city look. And the big scarf on the blonde guy doesn’t look forced. But those jackets are just waaay too big and 1998 Hip Hop IMO.
ana beatriz lerario and robert geller, designers of lerario beatriz and harald. fiftytwo showroom. they all have amazing style and it shows in their lines!
they look great, but i have two remarks. The baseball cap and i don’t like how the blond guy wears his jeans — covering his shoes. Some people do that but i think it’s awfull.
The friends are designers too. It’s Robert Geller who has a really cool line called Harald and Ana Lerario who runs a sales showroom and has a very sweet line called Lerario Beatriz. They’re all super stylish without trying too hard.
…to no fault of their own, when too many stylies gather, there can often be an over abundance of scarves, and cuffs, and distressed leathers, and charming side parts, and enzyme rinsed military twills, and angsty attitudes, and downtown devil may care glances…I like to see a more mixed bag: one prep, one polished, one progressive is my favorite triad…but anywho, as indiviuals, they all have style for days…hell, they’d better: they get paid to do just that!
….hhmmmm…..i love that a man wearing a cape causes a major style-quake on this blog yet a man wearing a baseball cap resembling a cartoon character seems to be totally o.k. maybe its because i am european…but…………….really?
It’s a “V” of green! Did they walk down the street this way? Did the dudes come to her door, then she check her brown boots and say, “Oh dear! I have to pull out the green nubuck boots instead.”
The new brat pack! But I think I’d rather have a Sinatra suit instead. They just look like thousands of other New Yorkers.Except the oversized jeans on the girl, which though different, aren’t actually great on her.
They look like they are all a part of some fashion meets the military street gang or something.hahaa…oorrr not.
I like the way Geller is wearing his scarf wrapped around his hood..it looks quite cozy.
The baggy jeans and boots on the young lady are awesome.
And last, but not least, Chai…He’s the only guy in that I have ever seen wear Junya Watanabe with a Yankees fitted cap or Comme des Garcons with Rocawear. I enjoy his mix of high and low.
He actually gave me half of his company to say this..Such a nice guy.
I can totally see why Richard Chai is Couture’s sexy “boy wonder” of the NY fashion scene . . . only he could pull off a yankee cap w/Comme des Garcons, Junya Watanabe & Y3 boots! As for the other two, who cares?
Wow! All three are designers? Richard Chai I’ve heard of – who hasn’t? I once saw Anna Beatriz’ line – Lerario Beatriz – at a store once but then it disappeared . . .with good reason. It was horrid. As for the line Robert Geller designs – Harald? I’ll have to look that one up. Why doesn’t he design for Cloak anymore? Weird that they’re all friends.

there is nothing “sartorial” about any of these outfits. This is horrible even on the teens who normally wear it, let alone adults.

To lintmag 1041: Why would you ban fitteds? That’s blasphemy.
