I don’t know if this shot is from the fashion editor, the photographer or the dad in me. This young lady just looked so charming with her cute but quiet style that I had to take the shot. Maybe it is as simple as I just wanted to share a portrait of a very cool kid from Sydney.

i like looking at your photographs as fashion photography, but also photography about life and how each face has a different story to tell. your photographs never fail to cheer me up – even in my less than happy moments they always seem to take my mind off things even if for a while.

She’s very cute and I love the watch. But if you wanted plaid shirts and toques you should have come to Canada. On that note I’ve never understood the wearing of toques (aka. winter hats) in the summer.
PS. we don’t really wear plaid all that much, I don’t think so anyway.

I’ve always held to the belief that it takes a real person to shoot a real person. Many photographers never come out from behind the lense. I’ve seen many brilliant shots from a technical stand point, but it takes a heart to capture a heart on the page.
I love the gawky colt feel of her hands and legs. Good spot!
