I think I'm in love! Look at all the blues that bring out his eyes! And his dreamy hair–but a face like that, I think he's look just as sexy with any hairstyle.
His style and looks fit together perfectly. Almost as his personality shines through his choice of clothing. He looks quite familiar. Once again, thank you for a fantastic picture. I hope some day I'll be able to meet you and have my picture featured here on the sartorialist.
You seem to have caught this guy in a strange mood Scott, he knows he shouldn't smile, but I feel like if he did he could in a moment. The grey colour softens the shoulders well, and the hair's fullness is reflected in the scarf – plus he has great hands. Bit of collar, bit of cuff and not at all fussy. I like!
The Hair, the Hands and the Face. This one is definately not about the knot in the scarf.
This shows elegance cannot be bought, it is about poise and well, yes- grace. Just look at the way he holds his hands or, rather, the way his hands hold.
Best picture I've seen this month. Just a good-looking, confident young man who's not too good looking, not too confident and naturally elegant. No accessories popping out, no little details that say "I care" that we can detect. That's HOT!
Woow! Flawless! Why is it so hard for men to look so..neat and minimal and classic and..fresh..and…beautiful!:)) Love the hair, the scarf and the jacket, but the overall impression is what takes you!
I just wanna marry him. Simply perfect…So fresh, so spontaneous, so italian. When i see this kind of pics in this blog, im im proud to be italian twice ;) Chiara Greco
GORGEOUS! A face out of a Botticelli painting. Very nice if conservative clothes, typical Milanese style, great photograph, even though cropped a bit of his lovely hair off
Drop dead gorgeous. He looks like a modern-day Chopin. Look at these hands. He's dressed very bon chic bon genre, but who cares. It really is impossible to discuss his attire, – you can only consider how to relate to him. I wouldn't unless I was a modern-day George Sand. He is too elevated.
His outfit is classic. I find that European men can only pull off white pants without looking like either a complete tool or an old man. I think its they care about the fit of their clothes, something the average American man lacks. Oh and his face is quite nice, too.
Effortless style, almost classic. This man is neither a fashionista, nor a fashion victim, just someone who dresses to look good (as opposed to someone who dresses to feel good about themselves).
His confidence brings this look together, and to some extent it works for him. But basically I dont like it, it's too feminine; the hair, the elaborate scarf, the white jeans.
sorry, but he looks like a milion and one other young milanese men, ultra groomed, ultra conformist and ultra conservative, and for all those who are "in love" with him, forget about mother…
Would this photo gain as much praise if his face weren't as beautiful, though? I like the photo, but I feel as if it's more of a photo for his face, rather than for what he is wearing. The dark scarf, neutral colored outfit, and dark hair frame and contrast the bright glowing face, and then somehow, that's all you see. It's a great photo, but what is it a photo of? Male beauty? Or of what he is wearing?
How can any girl talk about clothes when you have those eyes staring at you? He's the kind of guy you'd run away with, in a flash. The long hair, the hands, the face, the gaze. Helllooooo Prince Charming… :)
And God gave the world Italian men! Thank you! (If all the men of the world would even wear pants the way that Italian men do – ahem, that fit – world peace could be achieved, I am sure of it!)
Yet there is something about him, that makes me really, I mean REALLY dislike him. I can't help it, everytime I see his picture I start to feel really odd.
Wow wow wow. More more more of this deliciousness please. Edgardo from Colombia sure knows how to wear a pair of white jeans with aplomb – a young Rosetti indeed ! What a beautiful photograph and those hands ! Thanks for the wonderful distraction on this wet dismal day in Sydney ; )
"Edgardo looks amazing in this picture. he's colombian though!not italian!"
He might hail from Cocalombia but I bet my Rolex he doesn't have a drop of South American blood running through his veins. The kid looks 100% made in Italy.
I LOVE LOVE LOVe this look!! He almost has a kind of sailor look with the blue and white but yet he adds the scarf and blazer which bring the whole look together and so he dosen't look like a total sailor.
How handsome this young man is. Wow, what a head of hair and beautiful skin. I love his casual elegance. Each piece was carefully selected and goes together perfectly. Lovely portrait shot!
The "Dorian Gray" comments are dead on, in that: 1)he is, empirically, exceptionally beautiful; 2)when approached obliquely- as one would a "magic eye" poster- the photograph reveals an unsettling undercurrent of consciously masked venality. Approached directly, it disappears. Wonder what the painting in his attic looks like…
Who makes this sportscoat with the rolled edges on the lapels and pocket edge? I have never seen one like it before. Where can I find one? or is it a one-off? It would be amazingly helpful if you would you post a brand/item list for each photo, so we can chase our dream items…
A couple of weeks ago, Garance also posted pictures of italian men and phewwww it was a pleasure to see the photos! they are all handsome and so elegant! love it!
i like long hair on men, but i also know how handsome men become more so when they have a good haircut. this guy would be extremely attractive in a more sophisticated way once he parts with those locks.
why are these italians so damn stylish and gorgeous? its sickening…(yes im a hater but thats beside the point)it makes me want to move to italy permanently and marry a gorgeous italian guy like him…he's so dreamy…aaaah…sighs (and i think he's prettier than me smh..he's lovely

Effortless style, almost classic. This man is neither a fashionista, nor a fashion victim, just someone who dresses to look good (as opposed to someone who dresses to feel good about themselves).
Love it!

Either way, great job Mr. Schuman.

The "Dorian Gray" comments are dead on, in that:
1)he is, empirically, exceptionally beautiful;
2)when approached obliquely- as one would a "magic eye" poster- the photograph reveals an unsettling undercurrent of consciously masked venality. Approached directly, it disappears.
Wonder what the painting in his attic looks like…
