I am not sure about her coat; it is way too curious and not in a good way with her outfit. Her coat choice should have been darker to go with her outfit and shorter in the body. Great looking material on her slacks, though. Thanks, Sart.
The straight lines of the fence are so nicely contraster by the billowing clothes, and who wouldve thought that that yellow would work so well in that environment? I love how she can get away with it by having such a basic coloured overcoat. Plus, look at all the ruffling/bagginess thats happening. Sleeves, the hand bag, the scarf, the pants….
I do somewhat agree with your coat being to light comment…. The light coat and scarf couldve been a bit much considering how dark the rest of her outfit is. However, its works amazing for this background. Plus, without a coat that light, I dont think she couldve pulled off the yellow. Its the going against sensibilities that make this charming.
This picture screams: Springtime and given the winter I’ve had, this is so welcomed! Love her colour choices and the casual way she wears obviously expensive clothes. You are forced to focus on the quality rather than the quantity of what she is wearing!
Great color and layering. I always wear big scarves all bunched up like this though the rest of my look is rarely so cool. That one jolt of yellow really pulls it all together.
This woman’s outfit works well, except for the scarf. The bulk makes her look like she has a neck brace underneath it or a swollen thyroid. Something lighter would work better for her.
This one really touches me, I think because the proportions of her clothing pieces to each other are similar to the proportions I feel comfortable wearing…and her hair is very like mine.
The green sleeves intrigue me and I’m wondering what they’re attached to…? Maybe something layered under the purple top?
Expert layering here. Someone above noted the bagginess, too. The sleeves are genius, and mimic the pants. I would probably have put a shorter jacket with this look to show off the tailored pants. What makes this a sartorial selection for me are the lovely lace stockings. They are the final punctuation mark.
the trouble with less than full length sleeves is how to actually keep warm. they always kind of lead to a bit of a mess. no matter thou because she has inspired me to wear my eight foot scarf differently and reminded me to revisit my trouser like jeans this week.
it seems like sart has been showing a lot more men lately. and the women he does show are poorly dressed, in my opinion. i know he’s into bits and pieces of inspiration on clothing but I would like to see more women on here, better dressed.
I love the pants and the hose and shoes, but I don’t get the gloves and the rubbery looking sleeves. They remind me of the arms on a 1950′s scifi robot.

Like the layered colours on the sleeves a lot, and the lining of the coat with the top and scarf. Very good.
However, I don’t like the jeans. I think they are unflattering. Otherwise, great.

Best part of the outfit is the hair.
Then I’d say it’s the fabric of the pants. Very interesting — the texture and flow.
But I’m getting a little weary of the bulbous winter scarf thing. This one in particular is looking rather like a spa towel. Warm, but at what price?
Gorgeous bag.
Nice early spring day! Great photography, as usual!

Sart, You are teaching me how to say what I see.
I saw this from the beginning, but didn’t post it:
The yellow lining resembles tender tulip petals in a picture drenched in green grass.
Or is it daffodil petals?
