Sorry but I fail to see the style of this boy-friend-jeans-look. Even slim models look clumsy in them. These jeans make the butt look broad and flat at the same time.

The color combination of her jacket, t-shirt, and jeans makes me swoon and it's so beautiful with her hair and skin. I can almost see the right guy wearing everything except the shoes and she still is totally feminine. She also didn't keep adding accessories until she spoiled it.

I would lose the jeans or the shoes – they clash with each other (I think this look needs some rounder toes…those points need a slimmer look). She is a lovely girl in a great picture and, as such, can get away with just about anything she wants.

I don't like the jeans. they look chunky and awkward, and I agree with above that they don't combine with the shoes. Together, they form what I can only describe as a hoof-like illusion.

I find the jeans really unflattering, where they cut her off on the leg is just not great in proportion to how low they sit and how wide they are.
Then what look to be eveningwear shoes combined with such a laidback look just doesn’t have a great juxtaposition. If you take her from the waist up the outfit works, very sleek, but it's nothing too special.
I sometimes feel London is not represented that well on this blog for what it is, quirky, unusual and most of all playful and fun! We are not sleek New York or immaculate Paris; we are traditional with a twist London. Just my feeling.

A couple of comments:
1. like others, the shoes are amazing and i like them paired with these jeans. A real contrast. Anyone know what brand of shoes these are?
2. After a visit to my local cafe in Dalston, I've decided that it is Satorialist playground. There was a woman there with the best street outfit I've seen in a long long time.
Next time you are in London visit "Tina. We Salute You." on a weekend. It's a mixture of the hip Dalston kids and older East Londoners.

My girl friend came up last week with a pair of these new boy-friend jeans which she had bought at Abercrombie. They were so ill fitting that I wished she had actually taken a pair of my jeans instead.
On the picture here, I see the same phenomenon. The upper half of Yasmin is great though. Perhaps the thing about the boy-friend jeans is that people keep talking about you (as the numerous comments here indicate).
