she is perhaps the 1st person I’ve seen wear the high waisted skinny jean well. She looks fantastic overall. Love the stripes, GORGEOUS shoes. I always like the ruffled bags…I can go on and on… 2 thumbs up, for sure
She’s excellent and can really pull this look off. But I’m starting to get the feeling that high waisted jeans have gone out before they even got a chance to really come in – same goes for those Prada mini turbans. Anyone feel the same?
I really like how the angular shoulders of the jacket look with her rather severe hair. It’s very structured and cool. But those jeans are atrocious. They create a stomach bulge that she probably doesn’t have and serve to remind me why they went out of fashion (and should never ever make a comeback!). While I love the pop of colour with the striped red tank, it looks a wee bit sloppy (especially against the structured shoulders) and the girls consequently seem…well, droopy. Those shoes are quite fierce though :]
No matter how much everyone claims it’s back in fashion: I will NOT wear high-waisted jeans and I will NOT wear shoulder-pads. Some trends go away for a reason.
The woman pictured here reminds me of young Carmen Maura back in her Women on The Verge of a Nervous Breakdown days. I can’t tell if I like it or not quite yet, but I do know it has that retro feel to it.

Loving the high-rise look of the jeans. Shoes are fab. Stripe theme is done in a very cool way here too.

Gorgeous shoes! Gorgeous pose! Is that a YSL bag???
But the aviator sunglasses does not complement her face. She needs something less rounded.

I like the proportions that she has created with her jeans. The whole look has a respectable eighties feel.

I’m almost positive those are Pierre Hardy wedges, not Louboutins. But could always be wrong.
