While I also love the color combination and think that cardigans are underappreciated in menswear, I would have chosen a sweater with a slimmer silhouette/no pockets. The excess detracts from the beautiful cut of the suit.
The zipper pull is showing. The matching tie and sweater combination (as if they were a set!) is a big mistake. With that shade of brown, a small amount of burgundy would have been OK, but the addition of the sweater is way too much.

Whoa, it happened: someone in Florence who did NOT dress well! This cardigan thing isn’t working.
I love a cardigan and often wear a mens one myself. The wonderful UNIQLO do some fabulous ones at great prices and in fabulous colours! Well, all their clothes are great and there is now a branch on Broadway!
Oh. My. Goodness. I just died. This might be my favorite outfit you’ve photographed in a while….incredible. Thanks for stopping him, Scott! -Charlotte http://www.thewilderthings.com
Interesting combination of the sweater with the tailored pant and vest. A sweater gives less atuhority to the look, yet it offers comfort with a younger twist to the style… He coordinated the sweater and burgundy tie with a striped shirt, and the rust cinammon tailored pant-vest. His outfit combination is in harmony with his skin tone, eyes and hair. Charming!
