Cool shot! Ive always been attracted to people wearing lots of color, maybe because I don’t. The hair is very original! And for some reason I love her sitting on wood, I love the contrast of the wood and the colors.

Not a huge fan of the look as there is a bit too much going on. However, I do like the photo – her outfit goes perfectly with the multi-coloured background. Good for her though – she is having fun with fashion.

The only thing that would have made this picture more complete would have been if this orange-skirt lady had pulled out some knitting WIP from her massive bag. I know that’s what I would have done. What’s a smartphone if there isn’t a project to accompany it? There’s only so much checking of email that can be done. Otherwise, fingers and brain get bored.

She and her off-kilter, colorful clothing are a welcome presence in this dark, gritty underbelly of the city. But what interests me most is the contrast between this photo and the prior one of a woman seated on a bench. Superficially, the two photos meet the same criteria: an attractive young woman wearing a long skirt seated on a bench and absorbed in her phone. Yet while my reaction to the prior photo was “pretty”, this one arouses something almost frighteningly visceral.
An astounding juxtaposition and worthy of major kudos.

It’s amazing how this woman seems to just fit into the scene around her, even the colours of her outfit match her surroundings. The grittiness on the right is truly remarkable.

I love this photo! The juxtaposition of the woman against the wood bench is just beautiful. The yellow in her braid also plays off the yellow in the sign above her head and to the left of her. Wonderful photo!!

Great composition. The colors of the outfit blends in with the background but, this lady stands out. She seems young ( too bad we can’t see her face ) her skin is beautiful and I like her sense of “fun”.
Is there a split on the side of the skirt ? I can see a little bit of grey.
