I don’t understand the comments about her feet up on chair. She’s lovely, the coat is fabulous, but what makes this photo especially nice for me is that it’s refreshing to see someone reading a book instead of a text message.

I follow fashion and am a huge fan of this blog, but am very sad to see her fur coat glorified in the comments about this photo. Animals who are killed for their fur suffer miserable lives. As a compassionate community, I just ask that we consider our choices and the impact we can have for good or bad. We’re all connected.

it’s not just about the fur jacket..i think the burgundy walls just like a link between all the elments in the picture,it just complete the whole image..and with that book and that zone that she put her self in…i love the whole thing ..amazing one

It is not just a book. It is an old, used book with rough edges, being read by a lady in fur. With a plastic pack of salad before her.
This is so self contradictory and thus interesting.

Gorgeous coat on a gorgeous girl. My girlfriend has quite a few fur items. It’s a pity that she doesn’t wear them more often. I think people assume that they’ll be stigmatised for wearing fur (because it’s perceived as barbaric to kill animals). I think wearing fur is as natural as eating meat. And the truth is that most fur items out there are bought at charity stores anyway, so the animal has been dead for decades. I love fur – wish I could find a way to wear it as a guy.

On a recent shopping day, I saw a similar (or isn’t it the same ?) faux fur coat.
I wanted to buy it but felt like it wouldn’t suit me or that people would stare at me in the streets like (“Omg, she killed her own puppie !” or “Geez, she looks like a grizzly !”).
Then, I dropped by your blog and found out this picture of that beautiful girl.
I don’t know what but something definitively happened and I told myself, “You’re gonna get back to that store and if the coat is still there, just grab it”.
I went in today and guess what ? Not only, it was still there BUT it was on sale !
It’s purely an anecdote story but really, thank you ever so much, Scott for showing me how to be more daring and just following my instincts.
