she is stunning. i love the classic shoes and skirt. that top has such a gorgeous and unusual neck line! the glasses really mix it up. they look quite futuristic. beautiful shot. xx
I like her glasses, her court of hair … but overcoat the contrast of her orange blouse with the gray tones of the image. Regards from andalucia. http://www.laurameponeflamenca.blogspot.com
Is monochrome over already? I like this combination, the burnt orange blouse with the pleated grey skirt. But colours like these are hard to match and or find.
This outfit would probably look old-fashioned on any other person but it looks stunning on her. The two colours work so well together, they are sobre but eye-catching – it's great!
Fantastic! She is probably going for a more 70s look, but I think it would look equally wonderful if she added a petticoat or something under the skirt, making it a 50s silhouette. It might throw the whole thing off, but it was just a thought.
Very nice. These are the kind of clothes that can realy look awful on anyone else, but it's absolutely perfect on her. This is all about personality. I love the blouse. She's realy fresh.
Spot-on amazing. So nice to see longer silhouettes that have nothing to do with leggings/jeggings. I'm posting this right on my new wardrobe inspiration wall. Thanks for being, Sartorialist.
The effortless chic and timeless appeal of the burnt orange boatneck blousy sweater and long pleated denim skirt paired with low heels is timeless. She reminds me of an old Audrey Hepburn movie as she is casually perched at the edge of a stone bench in the middle of Paris!
OH MY GOSH! This is scrumptious! The rich saturated color of her blouse is rediculously beautiful! All the sharp lines and mesmorizing colors are fantastic!
One of my all-time favorite Sartorialist shots. Everything is so, I believe the French say, SOIGNE. The orange and gray, the haircut, plae skin and the drape of the clothes. So Parisienne.
This is a perfect sweater! The color, neckline, and crisp cut are so contemporary. She could have made this look super retro, but her funky hair is awesome. Such a fan :)
I wonder dear Sartorialist, do ypu venture beyond the city, beyiond the chic and the polishe gorgeousness into the depths of bogan and redneck country??
I love her entire look! The caramel color of the blouse is amazing and how it matches with green, also love the pleated skirt and sunglasses. Great shot!
Her demeanor strikes me as very confident yet feminine. She looks very chic without being over fussy. The simple lines of her outfit imbue her with a kind of quiet elegance. Her hairstyle and her eye wear give her a carefree look yet very poised. Cool, calm, collected, & confident! I would've wanted to see the kind of hand bag she's wearing — maybe a Celine or, better yet, a Hermes.
that skirt i really love.. but i would consider wearing those sunglasses with that outfit..the sunglasses are too modern with that fabulous outfit. i would wear some round glasses with that..think it would be more chic and yet a vintage look.
well, she is gorgeous! everything fits and just matches! these sunglasses are perfect with her stunning hair, her shoes are amazing, so simple but elegant and this top is wonderful. she knows exactly what to wear and how to wear it. and even the umbrella fits, i mean, who can really say: well, my umbrella isn't only an umbrella, it's an accessoire and it makes my outfit look even better!
I was randomly looking at those photos from april 2009 and saw a woman on the page called Vika, in Paris. She's wearing huge sunglasses here so i can't really recognize but is she the same one ?
Where else could she be other than Paris :) Perfect top!!!!!!!!!! I love her empty, pretty and long neck. Very nice combination with the skirt and shoes. You really captured her well, lighting, sharpness, background.
so… everything here is very 'casual, efortless, relaxed', sooo Parisiene, blah, blah… except that this is Vika Gazinskaya, a very famous RUSSIAN designer, with a very studied approach to her look and, of course, fashion in general. anyway, compliments to her
oh wowww! she's deffs from outer space. her haircut and shades, even her pose are simply sophisticated. i love how she matches all the basics together and yet get the perfect looks. effortlessly beautiful!
This is such a beautiful look. The shirt especially is a knockout, proving what I've thought for years, that the collar bone is the most underrated points of beauty on a woman. I'd love to see this outfit in motion. She's got to be a stunner walking down the street.
Her pose captures our gaze because even though she is sitting still, there is the illusion of movement in the spiraling placement of her arms and legs! Fabulous.
wow.. that hair. I adore how the bangs peak over her shades. I love the looseness of her clothes. They don't hug her body in that typical sexy way yet she is extremely sexy. She is true effortless chic.
This reminds me of the clothes I wore in the eighties. I don't usually like fashion eras rehashed but I would wear this again. So feminine with enough flesh on show to arouse interest.
Remind me to never throw anything away – I am sure my mother had the exact same skirt. Paired with orange (and her gorgeous coloured hair) looks wonderful. Brilliant photo!
As a catholic schoolgirl I was forced to live in grey pleated skirts for years. Later on, my sister commented that although now an adult I continue to wear them. I hadn't realized that the thing I so hated as a teenager had become a wardrobe staple.
This shade of saffron and bright rusts always offset grey the best.
This is a beautiful blouse- a classic but hard to find shape. One is told if you have a small frame to wear a boat nick but all you can find is a striped french t. This is absolutely elegant with bell sleeves. And o-so-practical-me wonders what type of under garment is worn with it?
I love the colour combination. Burnt orenge and blueish grey, they go so well together. Her total look is so striking that this pic just stands out from the others.
I love this photo – the colour combination, the silhouette of the top and skirt, the shoes – everything is perfect! I think I am going to hunt for some dark orange items to add to my wardrobe!
Paris is always a great inspiration! People there impress me with their casual yet stylish fashion choices. This girl clearly knows how to pla with fashion. Bravo!
This is really like something out of a magazine. It looks she she hasn't moved at all! Thee aren't any creases or anything! I hand it to this lady, the fabrics, and the skill of the ironer or steamer.
It's wonderful to see somebody so youthful channeling such a classic, simple look, but I adore the twist added by the sunglasses. Her look just oozes class and quality but I bet she's fun. Those glasses tell me she's fun.
of all of your pictures, this has to be my one of my absolute favorites. i can't say it's my most favorite, because you'll probably take one that sweeps me off my feet tomorrow. but wow. what beauty this all is. although i don't think i'll get an answer, i must ask: what is she wearing?
I think that she different shapes and loose fits induce imagination of what she looks like – the structured hair and glasses are the perfect contrast! xxx
this look is SO stunning. Simple, pure, elegant. And the colour of that shirt with giant bellowing sleeves, I want more in that colour. My jaw dropped when I saw this photo…

Lovely. Simply elegant in every way.

of all of your pictures, this has to be my one of my absolute favorites. i can't say it's my most favorite, because you'll probably take one that sweeps me off my feet tomorrow. but wow. what beauty this all is. although i don't think i'll get an answer, i must ask: what is she wearing?

Everything just falls into place. I'm not sure, though, if it would be the same if her hair was different.

I think that she different shapes and loose fits induce imagination of what she looks like – the structured hair and glasses are the perfect contrast!

this look is SO stunning. Simple, pure, elegant. And the colour of that shirt with giant bellowing sleeves, I want more in that colour. My jaw dropped when I saw this photo…

The simplicity of the lines accented by the rich colors pull the outfit together and make it original. Also, her sleek semi-pixie is amazing!
