Oh I AGREE! She is AWESOME. Love the pants, love the jacket, love the sunnies, love the understated hair and quirky bag. I could see myself wearing a variation of this. Those bracelets seem to be in a lot of posts lately, is this a European fashion? (I’m in Australia)
She looks so chic until you see the half-smoked cigarette in her hand. It amuses me that the French still think its cool to smoke, then again, the French still think they’re living in the 1960s so that would make sense!
This is how trousers and jacket should be worn. The proportions are perfect and I like the way she is holding her clutch/bag. It reminds me of the “porte-documents” we, parisians, used to carry a long time ago.
Love this look! Most of all, I love how comfortable it appears. I can see myself wearing something like this while taking my kids to school and running to have coffee with my friends, before spending the rest of the morning in my favorite bookstore. Love, love, love!
That’s exactly the point of it, she’s in Paris! The problem with certain cultural preconceptions is that to be elegant you have to be wearing gold or a branded accessory, in my opinion that looks even worse. It’s about self expression anywhere you go! ;)
I love the game of volumes that’s going on, I’ve always been a fan of volume play in women, not so much in men (we’re not made to have any voluptuous parts in our bodies if we want to be seen as attractive). She looks great.
