pyjama chic plus lovely tailored detailing on the jacket makes this a cool outfit…but good heavens, those “rubberboat” sandals take this outfit to another level!

We will wave at you, RJH, as we speed past!
Hey, Sart …. clarify this for me. Is the suit this gent’s fashion choice? I’m probably wrong, but this looks to me like a rather stylish work uniform, like a bell-hop at a boutique hotel. I’m looking at the fit, the belt in the back, and the visible buttons. Either way, it works for me. Just curious. If it is a uniform, the sandals make better sense to me.
I wish he were caught standing instead of slightly bending to check out the pants’ length and jacket lapels. He looks like a modern day samurai to me, serene yet powerful. Although I like it, his outfit could be found by others as costumey.
His rough stubble is a lovely jux against the delicate masculinity of the suite or, as suggested which I believe too , tailored lounge wear…but I would haved picked a delicate grey loafer instead of that clunky rubber sandal.
Guys have such a fraught relationship with their feet. And the bulky, peekaboo “sandals” they often wear reveal as much. Should I show them? Should I not? Should I show this much or less? I guess that’s why I love to see a man in t-strap flip-flops. It says “I’m fine with my feet and with showing them off/I’m comfortable in my own skin; no need to play games”.
