I’d rather say it’s a young Hayao Miyazaki.

Yes, What’s with this bucket hat trend? Where or who started it? I’m not finding it flattering, and it rarely enhances an outfit. Oh well, Can’t say it hasn’t happened before

Bucket hats are on their way out…like all in fashion, when it’s “in” it’s actually “out”!

I don’t find his personal style to be trendy. This look seems timeless to me. His choice in eyewear makes the outfit most memorable.

    Happy Tuesday

The popularity of buckets come and go. I think they will always be with us. I have a rather nice one, which I find goes well with my Barbour on a drizzly day. A change from Jeff-caps, and a step up from knit skullies. The gent featured here does a very cool professorial vibe. Neat, tailored, pulled-together look. Perhaps he’s re-thinking the “D” he gave my paper?

If you wear glasses, you need a broader brim to keep the rain off your glasses than most bucket hats have.

Awesome coat! Anyone gave more details on it?

I do not like this hat either. And I think his beards is in need of trimming. When one puts effort in a pulled together look with amazing spectacles it is a pity to spoil it with such details.

Bucket hats are neither in nor out: they are just hats. When you start obsessing over what’s fashionable on any given day in any given month of any given year, the clothes start wearing you instead of the other way around.

Michael…you’re obviously not in nor out of fashion…or maybe not even a follower of fashion…nevertheless,I tip my bucket hat to you!

If you pan-up, everything looks great until you get to that hat. It adds nothing.
