conservative? this young woman is extraordinarily youthful, daring, and sexy way before you get to the shoe. Despite that she dons a crew neck and a mens wear inspired pant, she remains far from conservative due to the sumptuous quality of her sweater and bag, the color of her sweater, her playful bed-head hair, and her confident posture. not to mention that she brazenly shunned a brazier with this look. I live these shoes. With a heel you can't see through it would be too heavy but like this it is perfect. The blue of the shirt is fantastic and her smile is very nice.

This is so quintessentially Italian– the outfit doesn't need high heels at all, but those Milanese ladies just can't live without them.

I actually don't think the shoes go that great with the outfit, though, and not because they're high. The transparent heel just says summer to me and the rest of the outfit clearly doesn't. So I'm not sure that I like the outfit overall. Great yellow toenails, though!

That works as a very classy combination, where the shade of deep blue goes beautifully, not only with her outfit, but with the background as well.
