Yeah…I remember–I didn’t wear ‘em, but many 80′s party people at the Palladium, Limelight, Area and the Tunnel did.

Pleats are good. Best if in an extreme style. I have seen some really small ones on someone that were great. Hard to find in the stores though. Jil Sander has done some.

Pleated pants really work best if you are quite slim, whether girl or guy. I prefer the retro high waisted kind rather than these.

The proportions of this are not pleasing. Those pants and that jacket do not work together for me. Perhaps it is because it is not a photo of his entire body but his torso looks absurdly long.
