Agreed! When I went to Italy all the men were so well dressed I was in disbelief!
The helmet is a nice touch and I also love the dynamics between these two men. http://untrucoudeux.wordpress.com/
Hi Alessandro, what a beautiful surprise to see you in the picture. You have been always tasteful and polite…. even when you were my boss ! With all counterfeit pictures here around, this real photo makes me feel that the deep elegance is made by authenticity.
Till the next…CIAO
The body language in this picture is a clear sign of respect and camaraderie. Not to mention that even sitting on a scooter, this man looks refined and classy. Un popolo speciale!
Everytime I go to Italy (Milan the most usual) I find amazing the amount of scooters on the streets; I know how practical a motorcycle can be in a crowded city’s traffic, but the scooters add a certain charm to the vehicle.
Being one of the first that ever appeared, the Vespa is a classic, and it is a must for those who like classics…
The helmet brings humor to the scene, I think. I once had a shirt with the same red/white/green circles and my friends used to joke: “hey, it’s a target! shoot right here” :-)
There is such a story here! Hey, I thought it was mine turn for the scooter!? No, my friend, I told you I had the scooter until the weekend… Ok, well, I guess this one time its ok… I’d give you a ride, but where did you leave your helmet?
Fabulous! Really wish more American men wore ties more often. These men look stylish and elegant, but not the least bit uptight or stuffy. Their mutual affection is clear. Wonderful photo!
Being italian, i’d Say they are the usual milanese, Too Sun tanned, acting young but over 50, and the helmet is ridicolous and flashy… Not elegant at all. The kind u see around with youngrr girls…
YAY! Finally! Someone on wheels with proper safety gear!
I TOTALLY get the romantic girl-on-bicycle-with-hair-flowing-to-her-shoulders thing, but it ain’t safe in the city, lemme tell ya. I’ve longed to see someone pull off a stylish helmet – a tall order, I know.
I am NOT surprised it is a sophisticated Italian gentleman! Lol
Central Pennsylvania is a long way from Milan and I doubt I’ll ever see such a stylish site, Vespa or otherwise, around here. The only suit wearing men I know who ride have their business garb shrouded underneath an Aerostich RoadCrafter riding suit. Definitely not stylish by Italian standards.
Looking at the photograph has me wondering if I shouldn’t turn a few more dollars towards my own wardrobe.

The Italians men know what style means. And the helmet is a subtle way of saying we are Italians and we have style!
