Her calf muscles, the way she holds herself, and the way she’s positioned her feet makes me think she used to be a dancer. Dancers seem to wear their clothes so elegantly.

I would imagine simply using a grey platform and cutting off the wood? leather? sole. I believe it simply works with the color of the sidewalk to make them look like her foot is floating.

These are Brazilian shoes from a brand called SCHUTZ. The ilusion here created comes from what we call “meia pata”, a small plataform in the front of the shoe that happened to be the same color as the ground she is standing in and her killer hills in a different color.

They are by Yves Saint Laurent F/W 2011/2012. It is a grey platform with a slight shine to the platform. Take a look at their website.

I really enjoy coming to this site (a few times a day) to see what’s going on in the outside world.
That said, I really like the incredible lace “over dress”, the very short hair et the shoes but most of all, I love that 3/4 view and the position of her feet. Was she walking and suddenly stopped ?
