I absolutely adore this mix of prints and patterns! I think it’s definitely the key trend for fall/winter 2013. I find print blocking might be the new color blocking..
Because Japanese cannot go or stay in Milan?? Or a Milanese cannot be inspired by a so-called Japanese style? I think Scott knows better than anyone where he takes his own shots…
I will be the odd one out and say that I don’t really dig the cardigan. I do love everything else; the textures at the wrist, the shirt, even the computer bag. However, the cardigan just doesn’t do it for me. I like the idea of an out-of-the-blue texture here, but I am not 100% certain that cardigan is it. I will revisit the shot and see.
No doubt that electric blue color is THE trend for FW2012/13 http://bit.ly/LQEjyG Also this bright blue looks unexpectedly interesting with pattern mix. Great Shot!
I see six different patterns. In terms of my own personal style, that’s too much. I would love to see the jacket he’s wearing worn with a simpler white or sky blue button up — or just the patterned shirt by itself. That being said, though the patterns “clash” they “clash constructively” — if such a thing could be said. It doesn’t look like he simply decided to but on whatever clothes happened to be on his floor that morning.
I wonder, did you take this picture on the sly, because this man looks very skeptical. I love the way he used more than one pattern, it is very affective. Not only do the colours complement each other, but so do the patterns, it really works.
Perfect print mixing.
…And that super long tie is fantastic (I’ve never seen one before, can you tie a normal one like that? -coming from a girl) The Lovelorn
the magic must not translate into the photo cause what i’m seeing is not a pleasing look. it seems that he may well have really enjoyed putting the look together but that’s the most of it for me.
I think he nailed it with this look – I thought he looked amazing from his undercut and bracelets to his dark denim jeans. Then I noticed the tie and wow – I envy the people can mix items, colour, pattern etc so well.
