This may just be my favorite image you’ve ever created. It’s like a dream, or a scene from Un Chien Andalou. Or something. Something magical and delirious.
Actually, the biggest designers took inspiration from the streets… That includes the homeless, dressed in bulk, carrying garbage bags.
Beauty is everywhere, look closer.
Another black and white great photo :
All the lines in different shades from grey to black, the light reflecting on the faces of the subjects but the shimmer of light on the coat is just beautiful. (As well as the coat, very original.)
NO, no, no, no, no! Puffy coats should be banned and this is the absolute worst.
Although it is a very good picture. I was taking a lot of pictures in Florence and despaired of people with puffy coats who kept appearing in them. I have not got your skill…
Love the vintage vibe of this photo. I had to look twice to realize it was a modern shot. As a general matter, art/literature critics are full of shit, but you should get a couple with credibility to pontificate on this shot–it raises fascinating questions about time and modernity (what we as modern Americans want aesthetically and in fashion, the meaning of our modern aesthetic, and the historical/contextual value of our aesthetic). What I’m getting at is the fact that this photo is both modern and retro, and there’s a lot to be unpacked from that.
this picture is beautiful to extreme, it looks like a movie still. I love her silhouette, foot gesture – like she would be looking out for someone & getting a little bit anxious.
