Completely agree with you here! The colors are great for her skin and mix wonderfully with each other. They work harmoniously and as a result not only are the colors themselves vibrant, but the woman wearing them is too.

Oh my god, these colors are perfect, the bag, the shoes, the hat, the lipstick, the ear-rings, the blue foot nail varnish, the pink shorts with the red top and the leaf motiv, and just a simple bracelet as only jewel, every thing is just perfect and goes tremenduously well with the skin tone. This woman has class and you caught her in the exact right spot, in the sunbeam with a dark background. Wonderful photo.

I like the juxtaposition of this photo and the one directly below. The backgrounds,both devoid of detail, tie them together. The personal styles of the two subjects share little in common–except that both are trendily dressed. She’s the more cautious of the two. For example, he’s in danger of losing his oversized shorts while hers–being of a more traditional cut–are firmly in place. No on would ever accuse her of wearing unmatched shoes, but some might think that of him. From the viewpoint of temperature, she looks cool while he looks hot. What’s my point? Together these two people/photos tell a sort of visual fable. Its moral? Never get dressed in the dark? You are not an editorial;do not dress like one? Measure your personal panache against the impact of your clothing before stepping out into the street? Trends need tempering? Always carry a belt in case of emergency? I’ve not really captured the lesson implied, but I’m certain there is one.

I love this floral print much more than the Laura Ashley pic you posted previously. This feels vibrant and fresh for summer, much more than the ’80′s dress. And the fact that she’s put so much into her outfit is wonderful.

Oh my Macy’s! This is a darling ensemble, and the hat just takes the strawberry shortcake. The bright floral top, however, just makes the entire ensemble just pop. I’d wear this minus the high wedgies. I personally feel safer wearing shoes that put my feet closer to earth.

Its very rare, and I remember liking this woman’s outfit in the past. This I definitely do not like. I don’t really care for her lipstick, the shorts, the shirt..or anything. However, I do like colors that are a little jarring worn together. But not much else here works. Her legs are nice.

Is wearing heels and short shorts tacky? Interesting to know what people think. Everyone seems to approve of it here. I wonder if it was on a different girl, or if it just her? I see girls wear this, and it often looks bad. Especially because a lot of girls seem to look bow legged in such outfits.

I love the colours in her outfit, so vibrant. I would expect to find this outfit in New York, more probably the Dominican. I find it cool that you can’t see her eyes, her clothes are so loud, but because her eyes are shielded it makes a stark contrast.

A reply to “Question”: I do think that very high heels (especially platforms) with short shorts always runs the risk of making you look like a hooker. For me, real style is not trying too hard… so I think this look would be so much more elegant, and also sexier, with a flat bare sandal. Now THAT would be showing off her legs!

Only in New York…sigh. It would be nice to see people dressed like that in Canada. She is so confident and the colors just pop against her skin. Ten points for walking in those stilts!

Completely agree with you here! The colors are great for her skin and mix wonderfully with each other. They work harmoniously and as a result not only are the colors themselves vibrant, but the woman wearing them is too.
