Too cool for school. Also… the frames have very new age collegiate feel.

We can’t get enough of the amazing street styles we are seeing thanks to NYFW! This is a great example on how simplicity can sometimes be the best route to go.

It’s great once again to see the rakish and debonair George Cortina. His typical ‘uniform’ of chinos and untucked shirt are always just tailored and irreverently assembled enough to make his appearance far from ordinary.

I have a shirt like that.
    I have trousers like those.
I wear my watch on the same arm, facing inside like that.

I don’t carry my cell phone in my front pocket.
I don’t smoke or offer free advertising for tobacco companies by posting my photo on popular blogs.

How come I don’t get people commenting on how good I look?

Honestly, I think (hope?) that Scott posts these photos without comment for the very purpose of highlighting how bad it looks, not how good.

    Your thoughts?

I’m pretty sure Scott took and posted photo because it highlighted elements of style, not as part of an anti-smoking campaign. He is “The Sartorialist” after all! I think many, myself included recognise and appreciate the elegant simplicity and small differentiating features of outfits like these and accept that a person’s choice to smoke is entirely their own.

Shirt is probably George’s tailor. The dude’s london tailor is Anderson sheppard. The dude is impeccable. The glasses are italia independent. The shirt is a classic safari modern

I don´t smoke and I dislike very much when somebody does it, but smoking is an option. I woudn´t say I don´t like the picture or his attitude just because he is smoking. Take what you like from him and leave the rest. He is such a great character.
