What's interesting about this look is that, while the colors vary, the tones are the same . . . except for the light blue shirt, which provides a nice break and keeps the tone from being overwhelming. Very nice effect!
yah. there are a lot of nice tonal things going on with this look. the browns and the dark green dominate — then pow! you get the oxford blues peaking out.
I am just not sure that I really like this one…I like the color combinations used and the look but…I don't like how it is so hard to decide if that is a man or a woman, I'm just not a fan of that when it's so unclear
I swear I was on a flight from Helsinki to Paris about three weeks ago. If not, this man has a double. If so, he has a definite style, as he was wearing a similar outfit in darker colors that day.
Brown and camel, or maybe camel and brown…then the blue of the scarf (teal?), add light blue for the shirt. Is that a black jacket? More brown for the bag. Fitted clothes and killer glasses…Great hairdo… You can analize a look clinically, list the colors and the brands and think it is an easy thing to duplicate. Mais non! Personality is everything here, this guy IS what he is wearing! You can tell right away, the way he stands in life. He is confident. Where can one buy confidence?
I love the casual and cool style. The colors are chosen brilliantly, soft and gentle. And for all of you who don't know for sure: yes, it is a man. A boyish young man, Sami from Finland. We love him!
The range of fall colors would have grabbed me immediately if the light blue shirt had been white or cream. I'm not saying I don't like it, but it does add one more element, stealing the thunder from the wood/tree hues of all the rest.
love every bit of this!! most of the pieces seem very ordinary but when put together like this – WOW. that scarf looks so luxurious and extremely well made, a great staple in anyone's wardrobe. of course the fellow's features, frames and hair are so spot on with this look too, just perfect.
Multiple textures, layers, and colors that all partner with each other. The eyewear give a since of intellectual sophistication to it all. The look is a smash hit and is not gender specific.
I notice that there lately there have been quite a few entries where the feet/shoes are cropped out. I don't remember seeing this many shoe-less pictures….Are the shoes cropped out when they may ruin the look (i.e not as good as the rest of the outfit) or is the cropping done to not distract from a certain aspect of the shot? would love to know… great and amazing as always. xoxo

Maybe it's the bag which made me think it was a very masculine woman at first glance, instead of seeing the gentleman.
I love these colours, as a woman that's how I usually (try to) look like.
I am a total fan of these glasses!
