This young woman looks like a statue : her beauty, pose and the way the dress drapes on her body in addition do the curves of the bench, great composition.
I often wonder what is staged and what is not ? But the results are always astonishing !

Great contrast between NYC and Milano….no one mixes comfort and style like the Americans…wow. The Milanese woman is cool too but my feet hurt just looking at that photo.

MINUS THE CHUCK’S…She has this silent movie star/Lillian Gish look about her ( or that actress from THE ARTIST, for the young ‘uns).
Her dress has a Roaring Twenties flapper drape to it.

I’m seriously coveting that dress; it’s really beautiful. The sleeves are great–hauled-up sleeves on t-shirts are iconic and create a lovely, strong-looking line at the shoulders, and these capture that effect to a T (pun not intended). The dress is perfect with the Chucks, too.

When it comes to personal style, this is my absolute favorite. Relaxed and simple, complemented by an elegant attitude. So very few can pull it off, most people I know considered “chic” look like walking christmas trees.
