Is this actually thom browne? if so, why not a full body shot? Not complaining, just curious because I think he wears his own clothes the best.

Wouldn’t think he’d want to fly the tricolour after Saturday’s game. It’s a Porsche Cayanne.

Ah yes, I have nightmares about that:
walking around with a strip of toilet paper hanging out of my pants…

Jesuslord, I sure hope that isn’t his jacket lining dangling out and looking all frayed and ratty…. if it’s that bad and you can’t afford to have your tailor fix it, it’s time to ditch the jacket sweetie.

i tried this on. in black. killed me. kept trying to look at my ass. ok, tried harder than normal to check out my ass. it was divine.

    the jacket. and the ass.

but 4700. seemed steep for a jacket with a peplum.

Thom wears his pants a bit shorter so I don’t think it’s him. I will see him tomorrow and ask then. let you know for sure in the AM.

i’m guessing it’s tefillin, which is an orthodox jewish under garment that you wera to show respect for god. not many wear them still still, but of course a frenchman would tailor one to fit his jacket vent.

it’s definitely tefillin. theres a prevalence of rich jews in the 16th, so i assume these are bespoke tefillin.

As far as I know, Teffillin are narrow strips of leather carrying small leather boxes. In these boxes are pieces of papers with prayers written on it. The strips serve to fix the boxes at the forehead and arms of the believer.
If this is a reference to jewish prayer clothing, than it might refer to the Tallit (or Taled), a piece of fabric, which is to wear at certain times. In this case the Zizijot are hidden, four long woolen threads at the corners of the cloth.

you are quite right, this might be a tallit, def not tefillin. but even then i doubt it. Working with a lot of chasidic men, even the cooler ones would never wear it like this. it’s not something you would wear as ‘fashion’.
