Wow. Those young ones know how to work it, don’t they! Such beauty and confidence. I love that the girl’s jacket sleeves are too long — like she found those boots and KNEW they would go perfectly with her big sister’s leather jacket.
Rasputin up there has a pretty good thing going. Coolest dad in the universe being just one of them. Kids with long hair and plenty of attitude isn’t hurting either.
The man looks like my father, but my father’s beard is more short… I must confess I feel a little bit of shame about him. But now I am gonna face this fact with another concept. Because of this picture I will change my point of view about old hippies. Thanks a lot!
Natural, easy & beautiful. This little girl is emulating a quality that some grown women spend a lot of money for. I love that the jacket is too big for her!
omg look at that maaan… i wish my future husband looked like that, with that beard and that coolness. please! and those kids with their messy hairs. love them.
I think the leather jacket on the girl in the bottom picture is from the junior’s section of Zara. I have the same one, and I bought it because the sleeves are so long! (I’m 5’11″.)
i know everyone’s said, but damn, warren ellis. one of my heroes. saw him play almost a month ago on mt buller. magic experience. the next day i was looking out of my hotel window and see this family of people walking by, all wearing black jeans. faces were obscured by trees, but when they appeared it was nick cave, warren ellis and one of them’s wife and kids.
something makes me think they could be cave’s kids, cos he has two twin sons who are young
wow…the “i dont care what you think” attitude of that family is inspiring to me..i hope one day, i will have a family as brave and trailblazing as that..that second lovely young lady is breathtaking..
that mafioso picture up top just made my day. lovely–feels like the elder is dripping with a sordid past and passing his hard-got wisdom onto the next ones in. thanks.

That bloke looks an awful lot like Warren Ellis from the Dirty Three and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.
I think I recall an interview in which he said he lived in Paris.
A new Dirty Three album is long overdue.
Good luck to him regardless.
