I don’t know who would get the idea in November (or whenever this photo was taken) to combine a short skirt (or are those shorts?-can’t really tell… :D) and awesome sunglasses with a winter coat but I mean, beauty is pain, and goose bumps on your legs just add to the sexiness :D
OK, when I first saw this I was smitten. Thought it was a girl though. On a man? Not so sure, but then that is all what style is about. This guy has plenty, just not sure that he’s making the statement he wants to.
Sometimes I am surprised to see someone tagged in one of the Men or Women categories, and am reminded that making comments that poke fun at someone’s crossing of gender categories is a very dangerous thing to do. Did you ask this person if they identify with a certain gender identity before making the assumption of categorizing them as in the “men” category? A good question to keep in mind in general before making assumptions.
In general your thought is a valiant one and indeed we should be careful with tags and labels.
But in this case I doubt very much that he even tries to “cross gender categories”. This guy is wearing a kilt which is one of the most “manly” items of clothing you can think of.
What a super look – perfect proportions of coat length, amount of leg exposed between skirt and sock – all very flattering to the body. And the archetypal London busy-but-cohesive colour mix! The only thing that annoys me is his fussy hair – I’m too old to tolerate the young ones’ bird nests ;)
