mmmmm……not sure about this. Almost works, but the elements are not quite right. Definite eastern bloc look to it. Do like the colours though…and her dress/coat. If she were in Paris she would have saved herself with the perfect shoes or boots. The whole image is harmonious and gentle….

Vintage is a fashion trend in Moscow. I think you already noticed it.

Everything is so harmonious! Something is definitely happening here. The combination of grays and blues of the outfit mimicking the background are very interesting as well as the contrast of her luxurious fur shawl against the dreary chipped walls. Her facial expression and gesture also gives a dark sweet warmth to this photo.

Oh, the blue of the blue stockings is as dark and deep as Yves Klein’s BLUE :-)

the wrap is great and seems very versatile

Love the muted colors; the rose-gray coat and blue-gray stockings. The colors are so harmonious and work very well with her complexion. It’s really beautiful how the colors are repeated in the fur. This is the kind of beauty that mimics the beauty found in nature.

i love this look. the colors all brought together in the wrap. the blue tights with darker shoes. the fabric on the dress. her bangs. she’s lovely and well put together.

Simply perfect. The pose, the clothes, the colours, tha background, the light, blue, vieolet, grey, a touch of yelow and black….
everything is so soft and pastel, I especially like the sharp and strong lines of her black suitcase, fine contrast!

Interesting to see real Moscow and real old surroundings like this one, with tasteful charming young people.

I love the dark blue colour of her tights, combined with black shoes, and how the shade of her skirt gradually makes the tights look just as black as the shoes are…

lovely- I like the color of the tights. I am surprised you haven’t photographed more flashy things..I would expect a good amount of gold and bling..am I wrong?

I like the way that these photos bring out a side of Russia that is reserved for people who actually think about what they are wearing. I am sure that in finding these subject there would have been a huge amount of exposure to the trashier side of young modern Russian society.

commenting from behind what was once the iron courtain, I have to say, this coat (color+fabric) has a certain “socialist” touch… but nevertheless I love this! so much harmony in those soft colors. and the girl’s so sweet.
