At first glance when the photo was only partially loaded I thought: FrouFrouu! But then I saw the pink. It’s an interesting cut, I would like to see it with her arm down because right now it seems like it could turn out to be a bit too hospital gown-ish. The dress looks comfortable though, and nice legs and boots. http://lordashbury.com
Unusual, nice, unusual, nice, yeah. (Kath and Kim) Odd, but I do like the colour and the boots and she looks like she is enjoying her outfit. That makes the difference.
Lovely girl. Lovely dress. But the shoes? I’m sorry, but I find them so ugly it makes my stomach feel queesy… I guess at least they provoke a reaction though..
I think the whole look is horrible. Big oversized dress – might look good in another fabric, but in this fabric it does look like a paper gown worn in a medical setting. I absolutely hate those hats when worn like that – it makes one look like a conehead. And the shoes are awful as well – well, that makes them go with the outfit, I guess…
Personally I don’t really like this outfit, don’t like the color combination and the fabric. On the other hand I definitely would capture her too, just because her outfit stands out and (could) really characterize the street view/ the image of streetstyle in a certain city.
Just being honest here …I don’t quite often see such a ‘not-like’ look on your website.
She looks so cool. The only thing I’d change is the length of the hat, because it’s goofy in kind of a dorky way. But It’s so nice to see a woman dressing for reasons other than showing off her figure. Fashion has gotten really boring because of all the emphasis on that. It should be more artful and include interesting shapes like this.
Og yes… that has to be Nadia Sarwar of the Frou Frouu blog. She is just such a creature of magnificence. I love her style so much, and her blog is good with a high quirk-factor. Great shot!
Styles that initially seem strange and challenge the eye will be de rigeur tomorrow. That said, Tabi boots, along with Vivienne Westwood pirate boots are a must-have for any true fashion collector. Viva la Tabi!
