Like all four of the looks but no.4 is probably better suited to a younger guy like him. For some reason those plastic beads remind of some kind of toy in my past; but I can’t remember what it would have been.

What a group! They all look interesting. In a good way. In fact everyone of them looks great.
I’m assuming that Bryanboy got his beaded necklaces from South Africa (he was here about a week/2 ago). Its so interesting to juxtapose traditional ethnic items with a classic highly westernized look…

The grouping of these photos is terrific–it somehow brings out the best in each individual look. I also like the way that the same or similar elements (deep blue, white shirts) are used differently by each man. The montage is like a little lesson on individual style!
This should not say .. but I just love! Black man, very tall, very strong and very handsome, what have you seen? I love the preppy style in a man is a total de-contextualization.
this is the fisrt time i visit sartorialist. I found it very impressive, not only because of the styles you capture, but also because of the picture quality. you have a gift! The only thing that makes me sad is seeing that most part of your pictures I see people smoking.. I respect the decision of each one. But unconsciously these pictures make a conection between cigarrette and being fashion.. I was just wondering about it and decided to share with you.

Mr Schaefer looking as sharp as ever in photo #2. I have always found that while maintaining his clean style, he often changes his look with his hair and beard. I’m liking it here.
The necklaces are either Ndebele (South Africa) or Massai (Kenya). I have one in blue with a matching cuff I wear all the time. I got it years ago in Green Market Square, Capetown .
