Tourists everywhere take note! This gentleman demonstrates the way to be comfortable in shorts and trainers without appearing slovenly: no prints, a coherent colour palette, appropriate fit, clean accessories, and CLOSED SHOES IN THE CITY, PLEASE.
I think the he would look even better with his shirttail tucked in, but I’ll still take this look any day over the XXXL logo-ridden t-shirts and voluminous cargo shorts to which so many people default in the name of comfort.
I’ve gotten in the habit of wearing my cardigan sweaters like sport coats. I too like to show about this much cuff with a cardigan. What was his made of? Wool? Cashmere? Cotton? Some kind of blend? I really like the fit.
He handsome and has a great look going; very athletic. Pity about the cigarette.
Naw, I don’t think there are any rules when you are wearing shorts, but he is in Munich not here in the States! He did follow the “leave your top button unfastened” on his cardigan rule which is a good thing. Not lovin’ the shoes….
I am always weary about men’s cardigan because it can look like grandpa’s sweater but this guy makes it look totally cool. It’s the cut and fit of the cardigan that makes this look so hip and chic.
And he’s the perfect person to pull off the knee length shorts. Nice legs.

Cuffed shorts that JUST cover the knee? Have to say I find this (these?) too-too, ditto the general effect.
