So printing this picture out and taking it to my stylist. I’m not normally fond of using product, but if I could get my short ‘do in that kind of coiff, even for a day, I’ll helmet my hair in hairspray!

Viva Morrissey!! Actually, the clothes don’t look Mozzy to me at all…and I like the look but it’s a tad too derivative for me…only a tad. The blue socks are exciting and the grey jacket is lovely. The Dean & Delucca bag is a nice touch. *sighs* Morrissey. I like this guy, he’s very playful and very serious at the same time. But I will say…could use a different shoe.

I’m off to listen to Bona Drag now.

He walked straight out of my dreams. He looks AMAZING. I love the V-neck and how he subtly layers all the other items on top of it. And the touch of color from the socks with the cuffed jeans… gosh, who is he?!

He is chillin like a villain, as if everyday was like Sunday.

The hair history goes like this. Valentino – chicano 50′s style – greaser – early Robert Mitchum – J. Dean – the king – bobby fuller 4 (this list of guys have all fought the man style laws and won)- bronx italians – even straightened early 60′s black RNB acts eg. wilson pickett – falls apart during hippiedom – resurfaces in 80′s new york proto punk with more of a miltary vibe – morrissey – Suede – NKOTB – gay porn? and the recent revival of the Smiths interest.

It suits the guy like a hand in glove.

I’m burning this ensemble into my memory… Great layering, and an absolutely wonderful use of color with the socks and the flannel shirt.

there’s that exciting blue hue again. i have a shirt that color that i love to layer and let peek out. until the more recent trends of vivid blue, really saturated blue-black, and very neutral gray blues, i wasn’t much a fan of blue- kind of ho hum and over used. now it’s been recycled afresh, which is great since it brings out my eyes.

A brilliant confection of a haircut, like a mr whippy ice cream. Looks a bit like Hamburg era pre fame Beatles, before Stuart Sutcliffe died. You kind of feel he should be wearing motorcycle or chelsea boots, but somehow it seems more authentic, like he almost has the whole outfit but is still saving up for the boots.
