Again, I’d like to know what you liked about this outfit. It’s clearly stylish, but you see hundreds and hundreds of stylish people every day, what stood out about this lovely woman? :)
So much love her short haircut! always been wanting to cut hair like that, but never been brave enough.
And, so much love “winter-color-type” shades in her clothes
I love the colors and the mood. And I think the haircut is the perfect way to highlight her beautiful long neck. Also ups my desire to put Berlin on my list of cities to visit.
Beautiful shot. Thanks for the ongoing inspiration.
Ok! I am so glas you posted a shot of a woman with really short hair. I am in the middle of trying to decide to keep mine short of to grow it back-so I am keeping my eye of the comments! Wish there was a shot of her face too.
Would this shot have made the cut if her hair was NOT short?
Yeah, this one’s definitely a very “german” look. But as I live in Germany and am used to such outfits I am a little bit bored of this one. Of course, it is minimalist and cool, but I long for more dare and colorful outfits in the streets of Germany!
What I actually like more than the hair is her wearing flats with a longer skirt. I think it looks soooo chic! So many bloggers are always on heels, and while I love them too, the realities of my existence demand that I wear flats quite often too.
Very nice mix of a feminine look with a more masculine hair style.
after way too much coloring, (read damage to my hair) i had to cut it all off. I had never wanted to have my hair super short ever again. this woman’s cut is a reminder that femininity has lots of range. that femininity has included the very short hair of the flappers and the short marcel waves too. thank you for this reminder that feminine is not only super tight short skirts and foot-breakingly high heels. not having/wearing those things need not make one something other than or less than feminine.
Im not a fan of that kind of haircuts.. Though, compaired with her outfit, its looks nice. I dont know how it looks from for.. But, it has something! Love her skirt, especially because it is not to short and not to tall. <3<3 Amazing mysterious photo, like always.
Ah yes, that hair! (And thereby, the neck). So effortlessly elegant. I love that the blue shades of her outfit bring out some black-purple highlights at the roots.
I wouldn’t have liked this at all a year ago, but now I think it’s gorgeous. The hair, I mean. Short hair, loving it. When I was 21 i cut off all my hair in a style not dissimilar. My housemate (chic Hungarian, so I thought) cried!!!!!! It’s put me off : (
that hiar IS awesome, but im more into her skirt, actually i thought it would be cool if the skirt was pants! like if u zoom out and imagine that it wasnt a skirt but was pants, that would be cool and hip!!
Beautiful haircut, not everyone has either the bone structure or the hairline to carry off such a style. Beautiful outfit, elegant without being dull. I am so tired of short skirts and clunky shoes
OK – a couple of you mention having the “courage” or being “brave” enough to cut your hair. I’ve known women to be all but suicidal after a visit to the salon. No amount of telling them how great it looks consoles them. Is it just a “girl thing” that I’ll never understand? C’mon – it’s JUST HAIR. Your hair is not YOU any more than your job defines who you are. Where’s your spirit of fun? IT WILL GROW BACK. As it does, you might even find an intermediate length that you love that you never would have discovered if you hadn’t cut it in the first place.
Trying to think a some women who’s hair has somewhat defined them, tho, I immediately come up with Twiggy, Halle, Nadege, Mia and Audrey – all short-haired beauties. Give it a try! With summer coming think how much cooler and easy your new wash-and-wear do will be!
Since when did this blog become ‘pictures of people checking their phones’ – every second photo is of someone hunched over, tapping away on their iphone. beautiful photos, but i’m bored.
