The fact that she’s gorgeous definitely helps, but she does have great style. Her accessorizing is really cool without going over the top. She replaces the typical ‘farm girl’ connotation of a plaid top, showing us that it can be stylish and urban.

Sure, the shirt and the jeans are boring by themselves. especially the jeans, they are sort of the typical low waist you find in the mall. But with the accessories it makes it all perfect anyhow. And her lipstick. But I would never wear the shirt or the jeans. Too mall teenager by themselves.

@ NYC girl. OK, you are right. Besides the sunglasses she is dressed exactly like an extra on a CW teenage drama. All she needs is one of those awful faux leather jackets they all wear. She is pretty, but she has awful taste. Besides those great sunnies. OH well, this is one of the few outfits on the Sartorialist I really do not like at all! Maybe she is filming the ‘Vampire Diaries’.

The downtown rocker chick vibe works for her. She has the attitude and the face to pull it off. (BTW, I wonder how that face looks w/out sunnies.) Two critiques:
1. The half-tuck is silly. It screams indecision. Just choose tucked or un-and go with it, sweetheart! It’ll look better, not worse.
2. She’s damned hot, and showing some bra admittedly is kind of sexy, but might the shirt look better with a tiny bit more coverage?
