You’re such a great photographer. im always amazed by the incredible empathy between you and the people you photograph. They look so relax.. no forgetting that some “stranger” is asking them for a pic in the middle of the street.. And you choose the best of the locations to place them. Again, as always, chapeau.
profile views 86, 432!!!! i am sure a lot of bloggers are jelous! dont like the puffer, should be shorter. My sister is peeved that even though she pastis’s it way too often, you havent shot her once. I laugh and tell her if the sartorialist doesnt sartorialize u with his click, it means the style is just not happening. i cant wait for factory girl to come out, and then to see all your shots of mini clad, edie sedwick lookalikes all over NY! woopee
Well, d-kay, when I first scanned the photo, I saw an essentially conservative “underneath” topped by a rather casual and rather eccentric–the Ming-the-Merciless collar upturn–top, and that gave me pause.
But upon reflection, I see that the tonal similarity, outside to within, carries the day–that the look IS “whole.” So I now bow to your sense of it….
Honestly, i’ve been CAPTIVATED by this photograph! I keep going back to it over and over and over again! I’m a relatively short guy (5ft8)– most of the peacoats I find are much too long for me. Any advice on where to get short, slim peacoats? Much thanks!
