So what? :) I think it’s really brave and excentric of her not to wear bra. :) Women with small boobs look so natural without it. It’s actually very nice, in my opinion.

Agree – small breasted women look great without bras! I was so happy to live through the feminist revolution and burning my bras – I never wore them until I got pregnant (my breasts became temporarily large).

the thing about the feminist revolution is that burning a bra shouldn’t be a sign of independence from men. the bra is there to support the breasts! throwing out your make up however…

How can you tell they are intelligent from a photo I wonder? She doesn’t look like a Nobel prize winner or anything from where I am looking. Just a cute girl with no bra on a cool day. The intensity and aura comes from Scott. Not the people.

soo… only Nobel prize winner are intelligent? I think that inteligence is really often shown in our manners, the way we look, the glimpse in our eyes, the way we dress …
and, I really appriciate Scott’s work and I admire him as a photographer but the intensity and aura comes from the people he shot not the other way round – he’s jus perfect in showing us their intense.

Last week was pretty “hot” (26C) here in Hamburg/Germany, so I guess it was the same in Poznan.
I agree, the pictures from Poznan look more authentic and real than StreetStyle from fashionweeks.

I agree with others – the photo is beautiful, there’s a mood established, this woman has strong features …. but come on. Even if she doesn’t need a bra, it’s really distracting when the high beams are on, full throttle. Hanging out at home with your partner? Sure. Sexy. Out and about? Not so much.

I hate to admit it — but, it’s hard to fight 1000s of years of biology: many (most?) of we heterosexual blokes will only be able to focus on her bra-less area. It’s a bit shaming, it’s involuntary, but it’s true. If you don’t mind, we don’t mind, but don’t be surprised that we find it hard to readjust our gaze!

She should keep what is private to herself. I’m not interested in seeing the outline of anyone’s nipples. It doesn’t matter if it’s a man or a woman. She may as well not even wear a shirt as far as I’m concerned. Leave something to the imagination. Or save it for yourself and your significant other.
Nipples are not fashion. Nipples are not cute. It’s as vulgar as a buttcrack, which I don’t want to see either. She doesn’t even have to wear a bra, just put on a pastie or a sweater, which she clearly needs.

This picture could only have been taken by a man. Have you thought about doing sexier stuff?
Your approach is very different from the standard in fashion. It’s the opposite of Purple Magazine. You leave more to imagination. You devour without undressing, which is highly respectful and very flattering.
Longer sessions with women could be really really interesting. The question for a sartorialist is how sexy can you get, without actually undressing. It would also be a departure from street fashion.

hi scott. i’ve been coming back to this photo many times over the past week. (i finally saved it onto my harddrive and then made a little photoshop collage with some cindy sherman and alex prager and a few others mixed in.) like a few commenters have mentioned, this is super cinematic and quite different from anything you’ve posted before. it looks lit but i assume from the nature of your photographs that it’s not. streetlight? anyways, i haven’t left more than one or two comments since i began reading your blog (…5 years ago now) but i had to say how much i dig this and that i hope to see more soon. i also like the suggestion of you doing “longer sessions” with women (or men.) i know you’ve done projects before but this style can take a lovely life in an editorial… thanks- K
