The first photo reminds me of a dress my mom usted to have when she Was younger. The colour is di-vine, and i want to play with words here… Di-vine, vine, vino, wine. A dress like this plus some wine… Divide :)

Love the disco feel of the first photo, she has on a great gold belt! I have a few of these 70′s-80′s era belts on my website.

Both have stunning figures to carry it well. But the first pic could have learned from the 2nd pic. The belt should be worn right at the hip an not on the waist, quite a distraction. And she could have given more time to let the bra strap marks disappear. Oops.

Ave to disagreeon the bet. It’s fantastic and an unusual way to wear it. Looks great!

I agree. I love her belt just were it is, in fact, the belt around her bare back made my jaw drop. Love the subtle touch of contrasting green on inner ring too.

For me, the bra strap mark just makes her even sexier. And a glance of her breast is a delicious bonus.

Both are beautiful, but the cut, color, and drape of the first dress are just exquisite. The belt is the perfect touch–at first I thought it was a bit awkward, but then realized that, in some way, it keeps the dress from looking _too_ bare and anchors the whole look.

So, comments about how to accommodate boobs in backless dresses? Unless you’re pretty small, going braless usually doesn’t look quite right. Those little stick-on cups aren’t very cute, especially coming off after a warm evening. Good solutions for the C/D set?

  59. LesFleurs

In a nicely made dress perhaps, a little higher cut or tailored would be nicer. I’m not convinced by low cut shiny fabrics in daywear. looks a little cheap.

  60. Diane

    July 4, 2013 at 10:19 am

With a bit of a higher cut back, this is a nice way for a woman of any (within reason) age to be a bit sexy without being overly exposed. A woman’s back and shoulders look good for years.

  62. anonymous

I find the first dress too clingy, and like Les Fleurs, a little cheap looking. The second is just the wrong size, notice the pooling at her feet, and the awkward way the belt sits.

The second photograph is a stunning example of color and contrast. – the brown and orange and white against a muted white. I don’t know why but the photo instantly reminded me of a Georgis O’Keefe.
