Looks like she has her PJ’s and slippers on covered with the leather jacket. Another girl caught running out for morning coffee before she’s dressed ? Why ?
OK I’m not the only one wondering about the slippers. But what I first saw in the photograph is the fantastic glow of her skin and the proud yet nice attitude. I think that makes her style whatever she is wearing.
While it is good to see confidence in the young, I do not feel it is worthy to be put on your site. She lacks style or dare I say it – taste. On a truly positive note, this woman is very pretty and her face shows character.
I don’t think this looks good at all… she’s beautiful but the dirty slippers, the leggings…. maybe people think it’s cool because she’s maybe 13 years old? Agree with Etrala, I don’t see the point of the look.
I might not be a professional to judge. But I don’t like it at all. I just think that she looks like a person who put on the first things she found in her room. Sorry for the critics
I LOVE the look all together, but something about the fact that she is wearing slippers eeks me out a little. I guess I have this thing about wearing slippers outside (that one should not do it).
At first glance, I was taken aback (after I have set and lived by high standards for myself while at the same time making mistakes inside & out as an imperfect human).
BUT then I remember the important thing, the ONLY important thing is that LOOKS DON’T MATTER.
Ugh–the slippers make me think of sloppy, lazy undergrads who don’t dress for class when they leave the dorm–if you work on a college campus there is nothing innovative or new apparent in this outfit.. Her youth and beauty make the outfit “charming” only in the sense that they’d make anything look good. This isn’t why I read your blog–I read it to see people who treat their body as a canvas, who take risks. This is just laziness.
Are you being intentionally provocative? haha Another example where the person’s natural beauty and your photography skills outshine the sartorial strength.
all about the ATTITUDE people. she doesn’t care what we think, she’s just rockin it. relax a little ya know, just take it in and let it go. this blog is not just about people looking perfectly put together all the time. duh!
Yeah, not bad if you’re going for the Simpsons’ crazy cat lady look. Plus, the dirty slippers matched with brown socks and diarrhea-color tights, superb.
…
For a sec there, reading the first dozen comments, I thought I was the only one who didn’t adhere to this look at all…
Miss K said “I wish I had the guts to leave the house in my slippers…” and she hopes this will start a trend. DEAR GODDD – NOOOOOOO! We already have the professionals walking to work in tennis shoes trend and the god-awful flip-flop and UGG “trend”. REAL SHOES, people – REAL shoes!!!

She is so cute. I love the bunny slippers – to me she is saying “I am grown up but I’m also still a little girl”. No, it is not the height of fashion but it is certainly the height of individualism. Thanks Scott.
She looks exactly like Summer Glau (hence someone’s comment on River), but this is exactly the type of photo that shows how sheepish the masses are, especially on here. Every photo is “amazing!”
This is a decent-looking girl in an absolutely terrible outfit. Bunny slippers?! Mustard tights? A Goodwill dress? An oversized, men’s leather bomber? It looks like she’s trying way, way too hard and it comes off as unkempt and lazy. She looks more homeless and less sartorial.
This is g0d-awful. It looks like she rummaged through the trash bins to find her outfit. The only reason for the raves is because her photo was posted on this site. I bet everyone would snicker if she walked by wearing this.
