Now THAT is how to accessorize! What a lovely blend of warm tones in the necklaces, shoes and scarf, playing like a unique melody above the undertone of the classic skirt and top.

    Pleated taffetaesque skirt
    is luxurious
    and full skimming her hips
    flirting with her legs
    A young stylish look
    complimented by chunky jewelry
    and an opulent leather bag
    Layers of lace edged vest
A wrap it and tied up
    Silky jersey cardi
    and Rhagistan BIG paisley shrug
Sophisticated Day wear on a sophisticated Woman
    with a capitol W

Her shoes fit! So often I see women wearing shoes that don’t quite work – too big, too small. These are just right.

So stylish – love the cropped hair… does anyone know where she got her shoes from?

    What an amazing outfit!

From the neck up, quite a masculine look. From the next down, very feminine.

Wearing those 3 amazing necklaces and that massive ring at the same time is stunning – I am so impressed!

Wow, just beautiful. She has completely removed herself from the flow of trends and created an entirely unique personal style. The chunky jewelry, the sunglasses, the hair = such attitude!

Nice to see real women once in while, not just really skinny girls working in fashion (mind you, I haven´t got a clue what this woman´s work is)

That scarf is AMAZING…not so fond of the chunky necklaces though (maybe that’s because I don’t like most jewellery).

Oh! to live in a city that makes fashion both fun and serious. I wish San Francisco would “celebrate men & women” instead of hipsters. I’m over it.

This woman looks fantastic, as have the majority of the Italians whose pics you’ve posted. It’s no surprise, and always inspiring.

Thank YOU, Sart for celebrating men and WOMEN, not just hipster kids. She is fabulous. I look to your site to keep me on track on how to dress like an adult and celebrate! Of course, I will probably have to move to Milan and shop, LOL, since the US is obessed with teenyboppers, so keep these great photos of fashion-foward, classic, elegant, ADULTS coming!

Love the dress, love the shoes muchomuchomucho, love the bag, but what I love most of all is her ATTITUDE. That cannot be be purchased.

Bravo, once again, my friend! xoxoxox, Your 50+ sexy, confident female fan.

Love the shoes, the scarf, the dress, the jewelries, the color scheme; love everything about the outfit.

I love the way she used different shades of brown to tie it together.

    Fabulous!

I love the lady’s total commitment to the brown and the chunky amber jewels! And the shawl looks great while providing her with options to wrap up if necessary.

Shoes and bag – also great. Not matching, but coordinated in a way that looks deliberate. This is a perfect example of modern accessories updating a timeless look.

My only quibble: why not softer brown tortoise sunglasses to complete the look?

Such a graceful way to age, instead of going all American and desperately trying to keep your hair looking like a 25 year old’s with loads of colouring and blow drying.

She’s not trying to hide her age, but with the fresh face, tan and outfit she looks young but not in a fake way.

Somehow she makes a fringed pashmina and multiple strands of amber beads NOT look hippy-dippy. Now that’s chic!

those necklaces!!! i want them so badly! lately i’ve been wearing amber jewelry on an almost daily basis… it’s just so warm-weathery to me, and it goes so nicely with neutral colors.

wow she is SO cool! i hope i turn out like that when i get older. She looks so age appropriate, again, yet so zesty. It’s great that you, as well, celebrate looks of all ages and styles. It is truly inspiring, and completely reassuring when i fear (as a 17 year old mind you) that age will take away my spunk. and you prove that wrong!

That is just sooooo Milan (and Paris) … ageing gracefully and with style! No need to pretend to be 20 with a tattoo and a cropped top exposing a rather unflattering belly. If only more women of that age in Australia had such style and panache
