Man I miss those London summer days… now it’s miserable, cold, and damp. Slightly harder to look stylish in these situations. I can’t wait to see some more cold, cold weather photos for inspiration!
Elisa, loved your comment. I grew up in Vancouver, BC, and the weather there is similar to London’s – cold, damp, dreary. Currently in Toronto, it’s been raining for a few days straight – and yes – I find it’s harder to be stylish in this weather.
I try to make up for the dark, wet, days with very cheerful umbrellas, bright scarves, and “let’s face it, they aren’t sexy, but they’re cute, right?”-type boots.
I agree – this seems like such a calm peaceful setting and the colours and weather are just perfect! Not to mention her jacket and shoes are absolutely gorgeous!
One of my favourite shots. http://untrucoudeux.wordpress.com/
Lovely red and black contrast. What’s more striking is, how clean the Somerset House terrace looks. Photoshopped? ;) And even more stunning: the sunshine. Really, this is London?! It’s been freezing the last few days.
There’s something so relaxing about this photograph…Love her style and the setting, but love her shoes the most. How their texture matches that of the leaves and her coat pulls the whole thing together. Really cool picture!
Michael….Agreed. Stunning woman, outfit, color, setting, photo…if it were editorial, (and god knows it could be..so beautiful), I too would like to think she would be engrossed in a good old fashioned book….or dreaming
Beautiful bold colours! Thank you for remember us Londoners how beautiful our city can be in the Summertime. Right now is cold and wet but photos like this make me smile and love my town so much more!

Totally. I had exactly the same thought. It’s cold and rainy. Let the sun shine again.
This could totally be an editorial shot. Very sharp image. And, the tree in the back deceptively looks almost like it has oranges hanging from it!!
