Ok, she looks awesome, actually it really is the very first (if not the only) time I see the high-waist trousers working well on the streets … still, you will not see me wearing it! Dude, it took so long for the trousers cut to evolve into low cut, we cannot go back, read Chrales Darwin to better understand that…
It is not unattractive. But somehow a big aggressive, almost a bit butch. A bit dark. I am not sure….
Perhaps I am wrong here, and imposing a preconceived notion of what her face speaks to me, but I would think that she would be so much more accessible and feminine (sorry) if she wore softer colors and more flowing outfit with more movement and grace.
A bit too strict looking as it is.
Perhaps I cannot understand her from this one photo.
bravo! LOVE the proportions. Thank goodness for the return of high waists and wide legs! RIP the tyranny of the skinny jean! no objection to skinny jeans as such, but it is nice to have alternatives. -jk
That is, to me, a very tipical Stockholm-look. High waisted pants that are very unflattering, and the trendiest thing in town – the leather jacket! Everyone is wearing it everywhere!!! Drives me mad… he he
i live in sthlm and i love it, we sweds just have it in us, or well some of us. Honestly most of os dresses the same, like those with fashionblogs, they dressed wery uncool but well well, nice outfit
You are so right about the perfect combination of high pants, short jacket. With her hair pulled back to show off her face and the lines of the clothes it is just fantastic.
Wow, great to see someone do the high-waisted thing without looking like a fashion victim. Those trousers have a great fit – too many high-waist trousers fit too snugly at the top of the thighs.
I like that it doesn’t reference any obvious look (that I know of)from a runway or a fashion personality – it feels very original.
for some reason she reminds me of the WW2 “women’s movement/strong women doing men’s jobs” posters. she has an underlying strength that somehow comes through in her style. its feminine and very self-assured. she’s very beautiful.
Very, very cool. I had yet to see anyone (besides models) pull off the high-waisted look but she does it beautifully. I think the key is the drape of fabrics – the pants, the blouse. Not sure the espadrilles work, but otherwise she looks perfect!
i noticed that your pictures not only showcase fashion, but also wonderful places. i’m thinking of moving to europe and since you’ve been all over, sart, what would you say your favorite city is?
wow she is beautiful. that outfit kind of reminds me of what the olsen twins wear. however, that style suits this lady more because she actually has a woman’s body. she doesn’t look like she’s 12 (as the olsens do)…
i love the proper and prim workwear topped off with an edgy leather jacket.
She carries it off well and looks comfortable, but I’m still not a fan of high waisted trousers. Still, very polished, and the wide legs look easy. The pulled-back hair is a good touch, too.
they’re great in the leg but i’m not fond of the deep waistband and 4 buttons. a detail like that is too 70s. i know i’m in a minority by not worshippng the 70s however.
So utterly modern. This is just the kind of look NYC magazine girls will be copying in the near future, I think. But it’s hard to do it this well, as this lady has. The trousers are completely perfect in every way and the proportions are very well played. Leather jackets can be tricky and often have a shapeless, middle aged person vying young look to them, a very Oprah Fanatic/Midlife crisis feel. But the crop and the collar here really give an old standard a shot in the arm, it’s modern and fresh. The t-shirt lightens the whole outfit up nicely. A shirt would have been a total bore here.
Her no or minimal/natural make up here is not only beautiful, it works with the outfit and is so day appropriate. I love seeing women who don’t have overly made up faces, most women don’t realise that they look fresher and prettier without it!
I loved the way she surprised us with those white (?) shoes with the dark outfit.. And there´s a questions…when are you going to come to Brazil to picture us?

The model certainly has classic, lovely features.
I am of two minds regarding her choice of outfit.

Finally, a non-model (I’m assuming) who can carry off this trend.

I love this look. The exaggeratedly cinched waist made the wide leg pants less bulky. Paired with the cropped leather jacket made this look complete.
Perfect combination of volume and fit.
