Very fresh and innocent. And seems simple but not so! Look at that gorgeous skin, not a blemish on those legs – a mosquito bite, a scar?? Nothing! perfect. natural. I am extremely envious.
The 'so simple, so perfect' lead in to this image is very apt. The shade of grey works perfect in the sunlight and the silk/voile texture make this type of clothing ideal for extreme sun. I love this look. Very me. Can I have it with opaques and a very warm jacket for the London frost?? Please?
I'd rather see her standing up because, it being so simple, all I see is a pair of sandals you can get at J Crew and a hidden dress. The extreme simplicity combined with you sitting position, I think, detracts from the picture as a whole.
The fabric of this dress makes it for me. It looks soft and even a little bit silky. I'd love to see the drape of how it falls, but it looks beautiful. Pairing it with the leather sandals makes it wearable for day and makes it seem like something that one could run around in while still looking very chic. Very nice photo!
This is simple… but its not perfect.. its fresh… and she has the charisma… but theres something lacking..something colorful… the garment is great….i would add a lil bit of color to the sandals…maybe a summery yellow.. but u can see she is confident and comfy on those… thats what counts
I love your pictures. I tried keeping the contrasts a little high the way you do and it makes so much difference! You should give some pointers on how you take them too!
i've been on the site everyday since last year. never once commented despite the wonderful photos and inspiration. but this one – my, my! she's beautiful from the inside out.
The simple summer look of Sydney is all very lovely, but what else have you spied? Am a little disappointed with the frock and sandals scene. Surely there are edgier looks there?
(BTW did you know Sydney is sometimes refered to by Melbournians as "The Emerald City" a la Wizard of Oz fame?)
The colour of the gray dress comes out very well with the translucent texture of the fabric. Both structure and texture play an important role. A brilliant photograph
i actually think it's the unpolished toenails that make this look so fresh and unspoiled. how often do you see those in summer? love the lack of artifice.
I bought your book today and I absolutely love it. It's such a good investment. I love your work and you have been such a huge inspiration for me. Thank you Scott :)
I love everything but the sandals. She's a very cute girl and this is a perfect look for a hot summer day, simple, easy, fresh, perfect. I totally love her dress and the nude makeup, but those are a pair of ugly sandals (although they must be very comfortable when it's really hot, i would probably wear them too if there 40 degrees out)
great look today. i love the color of the outfit and the look and comfort (i have a similar pair) of the shoes. mine are reef. i want hers. ps – i just bought the book and LOVE it. it's a little fashion bible/inspiration/time capsule.
What a lovely women…… There is much to be said about simplicity… I think we in the fashion business often forget that a clean fresh face and manner of dressing let's the soul of the person shine thru…

i love the whole styling of this shot – the white and charcoal steps, the black door – splash of green with the plant…its really a beautiful photo…love the grey outfit too! lovely and fresh – beautiful image of Sydney…the (sun)light is like no other…
Wow, she has such fab skin it has to be said. I wonder if she is wearing anything underneath the dress in the form of a slip ect, it is difficult to tell because of her pose. This is such a great blog! :) http://smellsliketeenfashion.blogspot.com
wow all those garments are so amazing and fabulous I don't come to your blog as often as I would like, but whenever I do I see some really amazing things keep up the good work! =)

Wow, she has such fab skin it has to be said. I wonder if she is wearing anything underneath the dress in the form of a slip ect, it is difficult to tell because of her pose. This is such a great blog! :)
