He's such a physically interesting man to look at. The clothing suits his lanky body type. He's pose and expression are just priceless. Everything balanced and in proportion. Wonderful look and shot.
Sorry, I have to disagree here. This jacket isn't remotely Brando or rocker. The corset-like eyelets or snaps on the side are the giveaway. There was once (late, 1980s, early 1990s) a thin line between this and an 8-ball jacket. Fashion's memory may be flawed, but it's not that flawed.
I think we're talking more about the way this young guy is carrying it off.
Cross different David-poses (Michelangelo to Donatello) with a longer, leaner version of Tom Cruise in a timewarp = this picture! I can't get over the pose you captured… Almost perfection!
Look at that leather jacket long enough and it almost looks like there's a second body superimposed in it. The perspective is odd with the sleeve directly above the arm but with the jacket seeming to fit the shoulders where it should the arm looks out of place. Could be just me?
Love the look – true urbanity – looking out for unchecked traffic.
Oh geeeeeeeee!! There is no word yet for this!!!! The pose, the look, the moment, the board… the mix of all this.. pure chasualness (chill casual uniqueness)! Luuuuuuurve it!!
That is a cool leather jacket – and looks great on the tall, lanky guy. Should be topped off with one of the hats in the previous post. Nothing is more stylish than a gentlemen's hat (which often looks great even on women with the right outfit).
I love this look–the long tall lean with the oversize top–he can pull this jacket off and this can be hard to do with the large arm/shoulder area. I adore Docs–I actually think they suit many–and are much more versatile than many realise. They are timeless in my opinion.
Was he in the other photo with the white jeans? He could work most things well, I think.
The colour of the jacket is so perfectly ash brown. Love the eyelets without threading and the additional shoulder/armhole panel. Big fan of deep armholes. http://www.winnsomesmile.blogspot.com
Oh you're right…that's "tight" (def. very cool) as my kids would say here in Orange County, CA. They have their own surfing lingo & sometimes I find myself saying things & people look at me weird. Anyways, TIGHT was the first word that came to mind!LOL!
Not digging the flaps on the back pockets, they look like girl's jeans to me. Nothing wrong with a skinny jean, but he doesn't wear these well; too baggy on the thigh and calf whilst tight at the knee, looks strange!
Those are the anniversary Doc's that just came out this year to celebrate the 50th anniversary (you can tell my the yellow boot pulls) Up close they are a cherry red pebble grain lether. They are AMAZING looking boots. They did them in black pebble and red pebble both the 1460 and the 1461 (thats also how many pair are available) Killer, killer Doc's
This guys is just Cool embodied! The long board is totally the coolest thing ever, the jacket is really ugly, BUT he wears it > Cool! The pose, the the jeans, the boots, everything is just so cool. I love the picture too, a great capture of one single moment, and then it's gone! Great job Sart!
its so hard to get past the lameness of a longboard – which is NOT a skateboard, fyi, i almost can't appreciate the leather jacket… almost. i have to admit i love the jacket and the shot (and hate the board)!
cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute !! ;) what a coincidence, see this pic while watchin tori amos clip a sorta fairytale. this is A SORTA FAIRY TALE in a real snap!! what a day!!

This guys is just Cool embodied! The long board is totally the coolest thing ever, the jacket is really ugly, BUT he wears it > Cool! The pose, the the jeans, the boots, everything is just so cool.
I love the picture too, a great capture of one single moment, and then it's gone!

I love this color leather. Saw a jacket earlier today done in this color. They called it cashmere. Whatever the name of the color, I love it.

This is so 90s! But I agree with the cool leather jacket. It's quite hard to find really great leather jackets these days. What a shame.. :(
