Rue des Rosiers? You can pack the whole thing up and ship it to Disneyland, as far as I’m concerned. That said, I like this photo very much, although I’m not sure what’s being studied here–bricklaying or cosmotology.
The corner of the wall seems to define modern gender roles against a backdrop of worn texture from long ago. Soft brown hair, crossed bare legs under a modern dress shirt juxtaposed with a man dressed for hard labor. Interesting set-up of the photo’s story.
never mind that she is beautiful in a modern and classical way at the same time and that she is stylish in a comfortable and elegant and simple way and that she has this enviable calmness…this photo is beautiful: unexpected cropping, beautiful light and details of the corresponding smoke, textures…if i had money i would order a giant print of it and if i had wall space, i’ll put it right smack in the middle of my apartment for inspiration and enjoyment. thank you for the delight!
