I don’t really see how she differs from the other over styled it girls at all. Chunky shoes, check, Expensive dyed leather coat( with that Audrey Hepburn collar that I am coveting these days), check, statement necklace, check. Ton o make up check. BUT I do like her look, and I especially like her natural curls. Not seeing all this originality, but a pleasing color combination, a great hairstyle, and a pretty woman.
She looks beautiful. I admire people who can find their own unique style, one that works with their body type. This outfit not only fits her well, the boots work well with her legs and the color of the coat with her lovely face.
you’ve prob. seen so many clone like it girls outside of any fashion show to have this sentiment. ;-) I can think of many such fashion clones (Chiara, Carolina, Any, Chriselle, Aimee, Jules, Wendy, Betty, Charlotte, Irina, Berta, that Fahionvibe girl…..). They all look and dress the same. I like how you try to take photos of people with distinctive outfits. Thanks Scott for keeping the fashion interesting.
scott, i cannot agree more. hordes of over-polished IT girls (and IT men alike) are getting old and boring. all of them are trying to be so original that they are ending up looking the same and uniformed. Nothing bad about having an uniform though, only if its your own..thanks for this post, really inspiring
She is a very pretty young lady, and I love the contrast between her coat and her handbag. Also, I like how her hand is signaling someone, somewhere. I hope you will continue to find these unique and strong women out there. You know, there is a subtle difference in many—some try to be “different” and “unique”–and God Bless Them for trying; some embody their own look easily. I think I can always tell who is who by their body language and the look on their face, you know, who is really comfortable in their own skin with what they are wearing, and who is trying too hard, though they are trying. Thank you for your work.
Hate to break it to you, Scott, but there are lots of unique looking girls (and boys) like her. In fact, there’s more of them than “over-styled it girls.” You just seem drawn to the later — almost as though you see nothing else sometimes. I loved your website for awhile and wouldn’t go a day without looking at it, but then the skinny “over-styled it girls” with their unattainable looks, became monotonous, so now I just check in once in a while. So yes, this one is refreshing.
