I love this picture and every picture youve ever taken (woop number 1 fan!) but im kind of *over* this swedish girl look. I live in barcelona (2nd biggest city in sweden apparetly ;-) and i feel this whole style is worn by so many girls and generaly they stomp around the town like (as my boyfriend so eloquetly put it) “those robots from the begining of the fifth element”. I like to see something new…something diffretn..chic she may be, but wheres that somthing extra that would make you look twice? I dont see it…Ok and sorry if i offended anyone/swedish people/robots from the begining of fith element but, cant we move on from this just a little bit? Oh but i love you all! xx
Who needs trousers in the middle of winter when your lips and clutch and tights match? She is as striking as she is confident. Such limited color used to such great effect.
I can’t help but note all the bare hands in these mid-winter photos. I’m cold just thinking about it, and long gloves would add such polish.
Rosa: Barcelona Sweden’s second biggest city? Are you mad? Sweden’s second biggest city is 500 000 people, and I cannot believe that there are 500 000 swedes living in barca! Ok, Sweden is a small country, but it’s not THAT small… Love the photos btw!
mDesiree13 at 6:04 and Rosa at 9:01–your comments made my day. Rosa, I am grateful for the chuckles you provided. No wonder I am counting the days till I return to BCN.
The face, hair, and make-up in this shot are lovely, and Sart’s exercise in making neutrals look so interesting is certainly worth our attention.
I don’t think tights are pants either, but that saying applies when one is wearing something that OUGHT to be worn with pants because she looks trashy. this is quite the opposite.
OMG! She reminds me of Robyn (singer) who coincidentally is from Sweden too! I love the concept of the oversized jacket with the tights. Despite what everyone else says about the tights, I think it works! :)
Oh Malin you see its a joke about barna being the second biggest city, it was told to me by swedish person who said “oh dont you know barna is the 2nd biggest city in sweden?…and London is the first!” he was kidding about how lots of swedish people move there, honstly i was couting numbers :-)
I love the charcoal( well, BLK/WHT coat but it reads charcoal overall)color with this wine color combination. This just gave me an idea of pairing these two colors in my outfit. I'd do different proportion for myself though; go leaner/elongated. As I'm much shorter in height than this girl. And this cropped coat/jacket look would make me look like one of the off-season elves from Santa's North Pole so, longer and leaner with dress & shoe matching the tights is my plan.
This girl is perfect in every way, from the white blond boldly slicked hair to the plum lipstick reminiscent of her legs and the burnt red leather pocketbook.
Love the punch of color, even though it’s not a bright punch. It really makes the whole look special. Although I do have to agree with the ones saying that tights are not pants.
This girl is popular, she was photographed in this exact outfit but also wearing a hat on “stylesightings.com”
As was the girl in front of the skating rink with the cropped ginger hair.
But both examples show what incredible pictures you take, Sart. The backgrounds, the composition – the comparison really shows how you capture the heart and soul of your subjects.
I would have liked to see a heavier shoe with this, I mean we get this really interesting look with the tights and her legs are INSANE! I nice chunky shoe would have brought the eye down more.
When its wrong i say its wrong…. i hate leggings …. but this is soooooo RIGHT…. and bold … and fierce… and gorgeous…she surprised me….she has the vivienne westwood type… and what a jaw….TEN TEN TEN

Not sure about the shoes.

That is exactly the type of coat i would love to have get me through the winter!
