Super! On the contrary the football jersy as the center piece of this punk/comic look would only work in Paris. In the US it would take a miracle to pull it off as fashion.

I like it- the bracelets fit wonderful with the jersey and the shoes, indeed very unusual, although i would prefer tighter trousers

This is one of the most original pieces of street fashion that I've seen on this blog for ages! It's so cool. The whole thing is so wonderfully unique; very Commesque, in a way. Love it.

Hate the Raiders! Love this photo!!! A wrap-jersey with peekaboo knee-cutouts would only work on this man. And what audacity to accessorize such an athletic look with those studded cuffs! Mad Props.

This man looks bizarrely cool. Not too sure about the lower half of him, but I do love the kimono-wrap top. What's with the pants? Split-knee longs or knickerbockers over loose socks? Weird, and not in a good way. He looks intense. Yakuzaman goes to Paris…….

my first reaction to this was HAHAHAHA. but somehow in a totally impartial way…it's kind of too weird for me to LIKE it per se, but it's so interesting that I can't dislike it. very creative. I think I'm so amused that I approve.

It's a modern spin on the traditional Japanese peasant/working class outfit: loose wrap-around top with tight leggings, commonly depicted on old Japanese woodblock prints and 19th century studio photographs. The sports graphics, boots and accessories are a cool contemporary update.

Why is wearing punk bracelets and a sports jersey so odd? This guy looks sleek, and his look would work in any country. Scott really is ahead of his time often he gets the trends that stay and become classic. Like the bracelets on his arm, and the skinny/slouchy torn jeans. Its so funny to see what people used to think of as shocking.
